Mafia 2 - I Left My Heart in San Francisco - Day 2

Dragonldy, I voted for you this round cause I wanted you to talk more. Yeah I know it can be annoying to start talking and then get voted for cause of what you say but if you don't say something you won't learn how to get better at this game. No one here knows who has what roles so that is the trick in trying to figure it out. The fact that the last few games have been really quiet overall I think people are starting to go after those who are quiet cause it makes it not fun for those that are talking. Another thing is when the group is unsure of what to do, people who don't contribute are the ones that get targeted because if you are not a bad guy then you weren't helping us out to find them so losing you would be better than losing someone that actively talks.

It isn't that anyone is picking on you, it is just that in all the games you are usually one of the least actively talking people and so that is why you constantly get targeted. Talk more, back up what you say, don't ignore things when people question what you say. This game is about being honest with everyone to fish out the mafia/werewolf/witch/etc.

Also, if you have a question for someone, ask them, even if it seems like it might not help, ask it anyways. and even if you get votes don't stop, just keep playing your best, you'll get better that way

Dragonldy and PhocQ tied for 5th as I'm still unsure about both but at this time they seem more innocent than not

Given the track record of how often evil roles vote to lynch me, it's hard not to be suspicious of anyone who does. I get the feeling evil roles always think I should be easy to get lynched. I never die at night but get tons of votes from the evil roles during the day.


The only person who's reason hasn't been explained for voting for me is Kyle. Since he was already #2 on my suspect list coming into this round, I have as good a reason as any to guess that he is a mafia member.

Last round, seems everyone wanted to lynch Cam, yet no one has mentioned him this time.

I explained exactly why I voted you Phoc, I said I trusted what Thian was doing. Its hilarious to me that people act as if you have to each have your own individual reason for lynching and bandwagoning is always bad. Guess, what, it takes a majority to lynch someone so sometimes you just have to go with the crowd. Oh wait, omg no you cant, then you are mafia blending in...blah. There is an arguement and counterarguement for every single style of voting in these games.


Now, Im just leaving the vote up there on Phoc for shits and giggles till I see something more concrete for a lynch. Although, clearly I was misguided by Thian's thinking as he switched his vote to me so evidently he is just as clueless as the rest of us.

I agree with you, Kyle. Sometimes you have to vote majority to get someone lynched. If you go back and look, I waited till the end to vote for Cam, and I only did so because it seemed like he only needed a couple more votes to get lynched. I voted for him, but he needed one more, so he didn't get lynched. I will do the same this round. Someone needs to get lynched!

I also feel like you are discounting what I was trying to ask, I only wanted to know which half of the cast, excluding yourself, you found most innocent.

As much as I appreciate that fact that you trust in what I had been doing. The vote up on PhocQ without saying anything, triggered my suspicion. While you don't need an individual reason for voting someone, there were a lot of "spiteful" votes. onto PhocQ, instead of legitimate reasons.

and the fact that you simply trusted the approach I made to PhocQ's vote? I gave NOOOO reason for my vote on phocQ other than...he was a snowman and we all know he is really a seal with a Q. That is hardly going off of anything. It was just a random vote for day 2. Seeing as we are back at square one.

Why did you feel you need to discredit where my vote was placed now Kyle? Calling me clueless as the rest? A deflection for people not to follow what I am saying. Now why would you not want someone to follow my vote onto you?

I see what you're sayin Thian. Looking back at when I voted Phoc it was directly after his rant so I can see where it may interpreted as spite, it wasnt though. I actually find him humorous.

You put the vote on Phoc similiar to the way I put mine on derB in the last game so I incorrectly assumed you were "in the know."

I have to say that I think Kyle is acting very suspicious to me as well. Now he is trying to defend his vote and discredit others. I think that is a move mafia would make to keep themselves safe. I'm not completely sold so I'm not voting that way yet but I am leaning that way.

Tiffani, I find your list to be interesting and would like to know why you have derB, PhocQ and Kyle as your bottom 3 most suspicious (If I'm reading the list correctly). Maybe your feelings about them can help shed some light on them to some of us who are not seeing it (derB, PhocQ)

I do agree with you Kyle about the voting situation. There are always multiple ways to interpret any single vote. That is why everything isn't so clear and people gotta pick up on the little things, however if we didn't question why people voted a certain way then the Mafia would be a little more comfortable voting anyone out and that would not be good, cause then they wouldn't have to explain their vote and slip up like they sometimes do.

Im off to watch the Duke-UNC game. Ill try and check in from time to time from the mobile. Otherwise it may be till tonight before I get to check in again. I hope Im not lynched by then
