Season 5 - Werewolf - Day 1

Yeah.

I think Bryan/Termy should probably give us a solid person they think is better to lynch then them, and maybe some reasoning. It doesn't have to be the other one, but I think hearing their opinions, their reasonings, and so on, would help me decide who of them is better to lynch, or better yet if maybe their ideas float better than other ones we've come up with so far.

At this point, I'm leaning toward those two, and want to hear where others are leaning for sure.

I do feel it would be wise to lynch Bryan.. for all the reasons already stated.. he's very good at making himself look innocent.. so good that maybe he is innocent but we're so paranoid that he isn't.. that we can't help ourselves and the only way to solve that is to possibly lynch him right away and not have to worry about it the entire game lol.

its hard to say who is what roles at this point in the game, i have never played the last games, nor have i played any org's before. And i dont know you guys like you know each other, wich makes it kinda hard for me to decide. But i guess we all have to start somewhere right?. All i can do is read the post's and make the most of it ^_^. but i do agree with kenya, if someone goes out of their way of trying to be innocent they may be hiding something.

Many of you have provided good reasoning for why a lynch should occur and I appreciate everyone who's taken the time to examine the way everyone's been behaving and put thought into their suspicions. However, I still feel confident in the original conclusion I came to, and with the deadline approaching in a couple days, I figure now is as good a time as any to make this official.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it's necessary to actually "vote to lynch no one." I think if you don't want to vote you just don't vote.

I believe that's true, because as I have tried to establish more or less, voting not to lynch isn't really voting, it's just choosing to do nothing instead of something.

I think he's VERY good at making himself look innocent. He was so obviously a wolf/sorcerer last time yet convinced everyone NOT to lynch him.

Exactly why maybe we shouldn't risk him this game.

As for Michael.. I don't know why he wants to stick out more so and keep pushing to not lynch.. that is only hurting him in the long run and making him look suspicious to everyone else.

I agree to lynch someone. I am leaning towards Bryan or Termy too. I really don't agree with lynching no one.

We have roughly 36 hours to make this decision and need 8 people to vote for the same person if we're going to lynch, so I'd say it's about time to pick a name and start the voting process.

- Michael seems to be emphasizing his desire not to lynch, which is interesting, and I'm not entirely sure why he wants to stand out.
- About Bryan, I don't have anything new to say that wasn't already said. He's a smart player, and it's difficult to tell where he's really leaning based on his comments. That could either work for or against us down the road.
- Termy's unpredictable. In Termy's defense, if we're bringing past games into account which seems to be the case, I believe it was the 3rd game where he was the one who first came up with the idea that Morris was the cursed turned werewolf and pushed so hard to lynch him. So he can be a valuable asset if he's active enough and contributes game-related feedback. But how active will he be?

This might be the most challenging format to date for the villagers with the wolves/sorcerer knowing one another, the majority + 1 vote, and without a lover twist --- which ultimately saved us from our mistakes last game and let the villagers win. So I think it's vitally important to keep active people around who are contributing to the discussion and giving us information to work with, or the wolves are probably going to win.

I agree with Brant that we need to get going on this. I'm going to a friends for the next two days and not sure how much internet access I'll have until Monday evening so before I leave today I will be voting, so more people please come online and give some more discussion before I vote. I'm still not sure but it is between Termy and Bryan for sure.

If we had time, we could take a vote between Bryan and Termy for those who want to lynch and then vote for whoever has the most votes...but I don't think we'd have time for that.

Honestly, I'm completely up in the air between the two of them. If someone steps up and picks a name, I'll go with it. Here are some quotes that they've said for reference.

I think anyone pushing so hard for a lynch in round one is suspicious. It's especially interesting so many people are siding with each other this early.

I think we should just go with Bryan for all the reasons already stated, as for Termy.. he seems to be playing the role of actually getting into more of the role playing game, therefore that doesn't necessarily make him a wolf, but who knows, he did trick me last time into thinking he was innocent.

But I'm gonna go with Bryan this time.. although I think he'll try to spin it around on me but someone has to get the votes started.

I think this is the best way to decide the first round's lynch, and hopefully we'll get lucky and lynch a wolf.

Hm. Well I can sorta see why Bryan is most people's best guess. For me, I just want to make sure we can milk as much information out of this round, whether we are right or wrong.

So that being said, I want Termy to at least have to defend himself and see what he has to say.

If I had to choose between Bryan and Termy I think I'd go with Termy in terms of the least participation. Other than that I agree with the reasons to lynch Bryan if none other than the fact he's great at flying under the radar and that doesn't help us whether he's a wolf or a villager. I also agree we should lynch this round so..

But in all seriousness, I do agree that lynching accomplishes more than not lynching. Can't get wolfies if we don't put nooses around 'em. I don't really know if Bryan is a wolf or not, but perhaps this will be the first round 1 wolf/sorcerer kill? We can only hope.
