Werewolf 2 - Day 1 - A Meeting of the minds

Okay I realize I'm new and don't really know most of you guys so it's hard to make a determination as to who is "acting strangely" because for all I know you could all always act this way. I haven't played werewolf but I have played mafia and the general rule of thumb is this: if the game starts with an odd number of players, lynch. If it starts with an even number, don't lynch the first round. The reason is you keep an odd number in the game so when you are at the end it is easier to agree on a lynch with 2/3 players versus 3/4. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, I think we should lynch someone. I don't really know who and I know this is an unpopular position to be in...hopefully it doesn't turn out bad for me later on, but I read last season and I am just going on a hunch.

Okay, well, I guess Alexander's (Sean's) name is put out there. Before anyone seconds it and then have to go through all the voting how about we let Sean defend himself first and I guess if anyone wants to nominate anyone else we should do the same thing. I for one wouldn't second it myself because like with Bryan, I've seen his butt...but we do need to get the round going I guess. So, Sean, what say you?

The last city started with random nominations for lynching, and the wolves won... we don't want to make the same mistake this time...

Guys, I explained why I think we should lynch first round. Just sitting around letting the wolves pick us off and doing nothing isn't going to help us. If someone has another name in mind then let's hear it but I am not going to just sit here afraid to make a move because I don't want to be retaliated against, lol. We are supposed to be working together so the village wins so talk people, talk!

But wait DJ........didn't Adrian Brody turn out to be like the "REAL" monster in that story??? I mean...he put on the monster suit and tried to monster Ron Howard's daughter, so, I feel like that's not a good defense.

Well, I would just like to get some discussions going. Talk about who may be suspicious and who isn't. I agree with calicula's point about people who haven't posted. We are villagers (most of us) who should be working on finding the werewolves. This game is really more about a group effort than protecting yourself imo. I understand people's reluctance to nominate first but I also think that just watching doesn't help us and the people who do this will be high on my suspect list.

Not lynching gives an advantages to the werewolves but lynching gives us information. At least if we lynch an innocent person we can look at the discussion leading up to that and draw conclusions from that.

Yeah, well at this point if I'm not mistaken all of us have at least given a small portion of their opinion. So now we have to either say this person isn't talking enough, or perhaps even, I don't like what this person is saying.

Oh I agree, I think not lynching shouldn't be an option here. I guess everyone's just nervous to be the first to nominate someone. I think Amanda's got a good reason not to nominate someone, being the admin. But could that be cover? Though really, knowing her, whether she is or isn't the werewolf I think she'd do the same thing (meaning not nominate someone for that reason).

The other non-talkers are really DJ (Kah-Hoo-Foo), Fawa, and Pete. I don't think we should nominate Fawa, just because we nominated Fawa first last time and that turned out very badly, so I'm telling you right now I will vote no to lynch Fawa (this time). So if we're thinking along the lines of people not being active that leaves DJ and Pete. DJ's KIND of given a reason not to lynch him ( ) but I'd still be interested in hearing from both of them before going forward with nominating one.

Alright, I would consider seconding a nomination of Pete if one was initiated.

I think I too want to hear more peoples pleas, thoughts, and behavior.

I agree about lynching someone who's not saying much. DJ and Pete! Speak!

It's nice to see more people talking, but that sounds like the most fair thing to do. At least it seems to be getting more people to talk! Which is awesome!
