Day 1 Glenwood: A Meeting of the minds


The sun set upon the village of Glenwood and dusk turned into night. With the moon rising above the tree line
of the village, the tired villagers began their nightly walk back from the town square to their homes.
The wind from the forest path sent an eerie gust of torment along its path that whipped the leaves gently bringing
with the the long howls that sounded through the night.

The crows nesting high in the tree tops scattered, flapping their wings in a torrent of terror. They knew it
was best to run. The villagers holding on to their possessions and roots decided it was best to take this terror head on.
The doors on every home shut quickly, dim lit candles sparkled through the windows of their tiny homes. One by one
the shutters were closed and all doors were locked as tightly as they could.

The nightly noises returned once more, crickets chirping their songs in the night along with owls in search of
the field mice that roamed the streets without fear. The dread trampled along the path as snarls were heard entering
into the village. They had arrived. It seemed as though everything stopped. As the night grew on, the moon decended
beyond sight and only the sunrise brought a sense of hope. What ever lurked at night hid amongst the villagers
during the day and would not attack.

If travellers news of Shadowbrooke's demise had not spread like wild fire, Glenwood would not have been prepared to
fight the evils along with the Seer. Unfortunately the Sorcerer had felt the presence of the werewolves and readied
to greet the werewolves and assist them in taking down the seer as quickly as possible.

Fortunately the Amulet of Protection was in the hands of someone, ready to protect from the werewolves attacks at night.
As the sun rose in the sky it was clear that a good nights sleep was not met by some.

Dogdude84 had casted his eyes across the village square seeing a ruckus before him his words muttered with distaste. "Those kids", His lip tightened as he watched in the distance a few of the villagers mucking about. "Why can't they read a book?"

The next to step out from their homes was the village's Professor Momo, He knew something was haunting in the morning air. "werewolves" his voice trailed for a minute as he scanned the forest edge...."uh oh". During his morning walk he had come across Dogdude84 eyeing him a good once over and carrying on his way.

No sooner had The professor moved on Alexander the Great emerged from his home as well carrying on the day with a little more nervous it seemed. He greeted the few in the village. "Hey all... I'm a little scared". With the impendending doom
the villagers were a bit more unsettled.

Kenya was next to move out into the village sunlight. Her demenor seemed heightened with the thought of werewolves amongst everyone she moved towards the square with a slight terror and tiredness in her eyes. She greeted the villagers. "I don't know whether to be excited or scared..." She stopped by a few of the villagers who had come out of hiding. "How is everyone doing?". She seemed concerned in hopes that Glenwood would not fall into the same demise as Shadowbrooke.

Bryan had been away from the village on his own travels across the land, spreading news hoping that the surrounding villages would take warning of what may become, he had got back this morning to greet Kenya. "Doing well, i am glad to be back in the village" He nodded assuringly towards Kenya and who ever else had listened.

Dogdude84 heard Kenya's greeting and turned a new tune from one earlier that day. "Doing great Kenya" He stopped to adjust his demeanor a minute and then continued addressing Kenya. "Back in my day, we made fur coats outta werewolf hide." He laughed as he began to remember. "There were werewolves everywhere! Left, right, everywere you looked!" His hands waved in a fashion of excitement as his story continued. "I'm KIND of a big deal when it comes to hunting." Indeed he was, a hunter in his time. "Now that the curse upon shadowbrooke took them under and werewolves running rampant again, I'm hoping to relive the days of old!" His smile crept across his face he truly was after them it seemed.

Kenya's eyes lit up with joy, perhaps it was that someone seemed to show some promise in ridding the town of evil. She exclaimed "OH! that sounds like loads of fun there! Can I help?" She approached the hunter. "Teach me your ways" She moved in closer still interested in what was being presented to her.

Dogdude smiled even brighter as someone had shown interest in his past endeavors. Grabbing his trusty rifle off his back he looked it once over. He turned his eye to the side of one of the village squares merchant stalls and grabbed his spare handing it to Kenya. "We've got some time before the beasts show up tonight. Let's get us some target practice".

Kenya looked around towards the villagers, a sense of bravery came across her now as she held onto a weapon to rid the wolves out of town. Spying a good once over she spoke "Alright, cool...what are we practicing on?" She let out a little laugh "Other peeps?"

dogdude took a minute to process what kenya had said before speaking. "That depands" he smirked a little "Anybody starting to grow fur?"

Kenya responded back as she looked around "It's possible" She let the rifle rest against her leg as she held it upright so it would not tilt over.

Bryan overhearing the conversation between Dogdude and Kenya frowned. "I have some fur. One of my ancestors was a werewolf" His eyes welled up slightly remembering his own relative falling victim. "Killed the whole town of Shadowbrooke". It was true, one of his ancestors was the reason why Shadowbrooke had fallen, it is why he travelled
the land from village to village warning everyone of the terrors that could be. Kenya had moved away from Bryan a little wary of his words, she moved closer to Dogdude clentching the rifle in hand.

No sooner had the awkward moment passed Jacijs had shown up as the sun rose up to mid afternoon. "Hey guys, how are you all doing?" The greeting was a welcomed pause in that moment as Jacijs continued "I am a bit nervous waiting for the scary wolves" Jacijs's face turned slightly nervous looking.

Everyone in the village was on edge.

The chimes of the village square's bell tolled casting a deafening ring to summon everyone for a public meeting.

"Welcome residents to Glenwood's first meeting, as you have may heard werewolves have come to reside in Glenwood.
It is your job to seek out and destroy them all, along with the sorcerer. During the day time you will all become
active in nominating those who you think are a werewolf. If any first nominations are second by another villager,
then the village will begin to vote yes or no to lynch or not to lynch against that person nominated. If you cannot come to any decisions, it will be my duty to motion the day ajourned and you will all be asked to return to your homes. I cannot save you from the terrors of the night, however the amulet of protection may assist you at some point, or it may be destroyed.

The way the amulet works. Someone currently is holding onto it. It can remain secret, which I suggest it does, you do not want the werewolves to get an upper hand. It will save you one night, and one night only. You will be asked to pass that amulet on upon the following night. If you do not pass it to anyone. You will destroy it and the village will lose that amulet. If you pass it to someone who has already had it, it will be destroyed. If you pass it to a werewolf or the sorcerer, it might be destroyed depending upon their actions.

I suggest you be careful when nominating and voting, as hasty decisions may lead you to the demise of your village, just like shadowbrooke. I will be here to guide as best as I can, remember the nomination rules and voting rules and if you have any question about your role about what is going on, or anything in general. Pvt message me as soon as you can, so I can explain if something is done correctly or not."

I will let you all decide in your own time, who will you lynch at this first meeting.
Remember:
Nomination Ceremony:
- It takes a second nomination for it to become permanent and official ((no changes after anyone seconds any nomination be careful))
- Changes can be made to nominations by first finding your nomination and putting a line through it, then posting a new post with your changed nomination.
- Once a second nomination occurs, it will turn into the statement phase

Statement phase:
- Please out of respect, allow the nominated person to plead their case as to why not to lynch them, if it takes too long, i will prod them in pvt, and if it takes any longer, I will give a deadline, after deadline, you may begin to proceed to the
"Vote to lynch phase"


Vote to Lynch:
- Votes can be changed from yes to no or not to yes by finding your previous vote and crossing it out and then making a new post
- Votes can only be changed if a majority has NOT been reached for yes or no.
- Once a vote majority YES, the day phase is over, that person is lynched, so wait for me to post the next part of the story and give instruction to night time phase.
- Once a vote majority NO is made, you will return to the Nomination phase and follow process again.
- If the nomination ceremony has occured 3 times and no one has been lynched yet. The night will close in and no one
will be lynched.

I cannot stress enough, hasty decisions during the day phase may not be wise, theories are welcomed and hunches. If you suspect someone, you do not necessarily have to nominate right away, you can accuse before nominating to start debating.

Um.......I am obviously not a good person to nominate people this time around. I would say just don't nominate Bryan, so we can continue to see his avatar constantly.
