DAY 1 BEGINS

Pollux - thanks for the insight, seems like we do have some people kicking around who want to oust the scum as badly as I and do it with intellect and intelligence. I knew for a fact that I would be putting the spotlight on myself by vocalizing my gut instincts, but this is a risk I was willing to make to get the ball rolling. If I get lynched for speaking my mind, then so be it, you will be all picked off one after the other if that is your strategy.

I've played this game before using nominations, three people are put on the block, and they have to plead their case, then the group votes who to lynch from those three...

I mean this strategy definitely makes it imperative to continually talk it through and figure it all out. That is my suggestion, and if we want to do it that way, and y'all feel like I should go up, then please do it - I have no FEAR!!

Our deadline approaches quickly, we need to start coming to a conclusion...

Based on what I have read thus far and my experience in playing these games I honestly don't think anyone who is being very vocal is necessarily suspicious. On that token I don't have enough to go on with the people who have not posted much (and I know I fall into this latter category).

Pollux, for the reasons you stated I really do not think Debani is Mafia and it is the reason I am really not looking at him. However, that being said it is possible he is mafia and is trying to use that type of approach to his game play. I'm not going to rule anyone out until I feel 100% that someone is definitely innocent.

With that said I'm gonna make a vote in order to get the ball rolling. My vote is definitely not final but more of a way to get some discussion going.

My vote is for STACIE

The reason I am voting for Stacie is because I feel she has posted the least (correct me if I'm wrong) and I'd rather vote someone who isn't that active out over someone who is active, at least in this first round where there is not much to go on.

So Debani made himself known by making the first accusation. I don't think that quite screams mafia, he's just not afraid to point a finger to get people talking. There is not much to add at this point, just interesting to see how people react to it.

In these games I try to find trends or patterns in voting and make future votes off those. This early though, we simply have to wait a round before we have past votes to go off. These first rounds are often fairly random in who we kill, but we definitely have to watch for people that legit want someone out for a good reason, or people that simply bandwagon to get the kill quickly.

Well since stacie has been gone for the majority of the game and it will be much harder to get a read on her in the future...I also vote...stacie

Haven't heard a word from the following people really...

Stacie, Kyle, Jordan, and Donna...

I think we should all agree on one of them to lynch...

One of us is fairly certain to die through the night...

I don't think the mafia will be as forgiving as we will be...

I've posted several times, so I'm not inactive. Since it's the beginning of the game, I have no idea who to vote. No one seems particularly suspicious.

Im always a bit slow on day 1. Im not going to vote to lynch someone unless I truly feel they are a baddie. Seems like with the set up we have, there is no point killing someone and doing the baddies work for them on day one. Just my current opinion, that may change as we get a few more days in.

I am so sorry you guys!! I understand why you voted for me, so really no hard feelings there. I haven't been able to log in for the last couple of days. Not sure why my laptop was messing up, but it suddenly worked today!!! So here I am.

Again, if you want to keep your vote on me, that's cool. However, I'm not mafia, so if you want to reconsider, you'll be glad you did!! Promise!

I am not going to vote yet, I would like to see a few more posts from people who haven't spoken much yet. I include myself in this, because I know I wasn't here, but it wasn't any fault of my own.

I voted at the same time of some of the other players so if you feel that's a legitimate way to figure out who the mafia is Kiwi, we have a serious problem... and I really don't think this will go too far until the mafia has wiped us all out.

I simply made a suggestion, and for that you have a vendetta against me rather than actually trying to clear your name and make an actual worthy accusation. You haven't made an attempt to clear your name, and I WILL be coming after you because I really do feel you are the scum here. However, keeping with the decision of the group to rid the inactives...

Mandie, if it's ok, I would like to change my vote... let me know if this is allowed, since we have heard from Stacie.

Yes, It's stated somewhere here that you can change your vote as many times as you wish until the deadline or a majority has been reached for a lynch.

Yikes! Hopefully the votes come in before the deadline.... I won't be online again tonight..

Doubtful Im going to be voting this first night, no one sticks out to me as a baddie and Ive never been much of a bandwagoner. Debani does seem to be drawing early attention to herself, which seems odd for a mafia role, so Im not sold on it. Ill also be heading out for the evening here shortly, so good luck to everyone with whatever result we end up with.

Two hours to deadline and not close to majority. Eesh.

I'm not particularly sold on anybody. Kiwi seems very OMGUS tactics at Debani, which strikes me as odd. Kyle's complacency with non-voting also jumps out at me as strange. Lots of lurkers, not a lot to go on. Jordan, I believe, hasn't said anything at all since checking in, so Jordan jumps out at me as the most inactive.

In terms of suspicion, I'd say Kyle to me is acting the most suspicious. Can't quite put my finger on it, but part of it is personal preference. I think everybody should have a vote on record...even if it looks like there isn't going to be a clear majority. And Kyle continually saying he finds nothing suspicious and just waiving his right to vote...doesn't settle well with me.

However, I'm going to go ahead and vote for Jordan as my Day 1 vote, simply because if you aren't contributing to the discussion at all, you're of no help to the town.

We don't really have enough votes for a lynch at this point. I'm kinda with Kyle in thinking why vote if it's just a shot in the dark that will most likely hurt us.

I've decided not to vote the round, like Cam said we don't have a clear majority. We need to see what happens tonight and then make a more clear decision Day 2.

I'm retracting my vote on Stacie, the reason I voted for her was in hopes of drawing her out and getting her to talk and it worked.

I would rather see an inactive go and learn something, than not see an inactive go and learn nothing. However, I think that we will learn something regardless so I am not gonna vote at this time, plus I don't think there is anyway we are getting a majority today so it really doesn't matter who I vote for.

With that said I do wanna make some comments as a closing thoughts type of deal for this day.

Debani - I don't particularly find you suspicious per say, however you are in the top 3 most suspicious for me at this point. Jumping on the vote for Stacie as quick after I voted for her definitely was weird, however I can understand that you just agreed with my logic, so it isn't a definite suspicion, just gonna keep a watch on you honestly

Birdy - same with Debani, you quickly jumped on the vote for Stacie, which yes I started, but it was just weird that you jumped on it. It makes you both seem like bandwagoners which is something I didn't think either of you would be until you did it. I'm probably over thinking it but those are my thoughts on that thus far.

Kiwi - something that Debani said that I agree with is that you keep attacking him for having a gut feeling he had that you are mafia and yet nothing you've said is to defend yourself. I find that a bit odd, I understand looking at him as trying to put blame on others but not defending yourself at all. Maybe I misread something but I haven't seen it.

Jordan is MIA and that is a shame. Does it mean he is mafia, honestly I'd be more inclined to vote for him over anyone else at this point. We can't really learn anything from him if he isn't active so why not learn something by arresting him. It's a hard choice
