I missed the stage, was there but not close enough to see anything. Those I heard were good though.

I saw Sherry Vine and Brent Corrigan at Machine on Friday (Sherry is a drag queen and Brent is a gay porn star). Didn't really care about either of them but it was a fun night. I cannot stop raving about this weekend, it really was awesome and it didn't rain like the last two years lmao.

Pete I'm so glad you're having fun and being happy. I've been trying to do more of that myself lately. I was in Boston last weekend too actually.. I saw my boyfriend (went to his hotel he's staying at while training for his new job) in Franklin over the weekend and had to take the commuter rail into South Station and then the bus back to the Cape, cuz my POC car can't make it that far lmao. If I had known you were in Boston we should have hung out!!

so I never updated this. I got my permit on the 13th, had no problems passing that.

I had an awesome day at work today, so good in fact that my boss asked me to stay later. Earlier this year the entire store had to take part in a survey about the store and management and she got a lot of complaints so she has changed her attitude big time. I've also been getting a lot more hours which is good. I feel like I can finally start turning things around a little

so work has continued to improve and I've continued getting a lot more hours. Been asked to work extra shifts and hours over the last few weeks (including today). and to show how well I have been doing I was told today that I am Team Member of the Month! I've never gotten this before so am excited lol

so this morning is a sad one. Our dog Cody passed away this morning. Didn't expect it as she was the youngest of the dogs. Really upset over this

Aww... Sorry to hear that, Pete.

Hang in there Pete. It's always hard when we lose a pet. With time it will get a little easier.

so loses don't seem to want to stop this year. This time it was one of my sisters friends, someone I've known for over 10 years. She was my age, in fact her birthday is a few days after mine. I guess she died due to a blood clot or something, not entirely sure what exactly happened. I personally wasn't friends with her, and didn't speak to her at all but am saddened by it.

Also, at work the other day one of the managers made a comment to me that really offended me (it was regarding something I was purchasing as a gift.) I'm going to be having a little chat with her when I return to work next week (have the next few days off). This is a manager I actually liked, so am hoping that it isn't a further issue.

This Sunday is my birthday, and I am going to Boston on Saturday to visit friends. Am looking forward to getting away from work, and family. Then Sunday I am going to see the new Resident Evil movie in 3D for free, am also looking forward to that as well lol.

There is some good, and some bad. Trying to remain upbeat and positive about stuff. Feel like I am succeeding as well though have had a few moments where I really struggled.

oh and I got myself a new Nintendo 3DS, and absolutely love it lol. That is the 3rd major electronics I've bought in the last two months (new phone and Kindle Fire being the other 2). I am getting a new TV soon as well cause the one I have currently is dying, sound is going which really sucks, it is a good TV but all things break sometimes I guess. It lasted me a good 4 years as I bought it in February 2008, so close to 5 years. Hoping I can get a bigger TV though, not sure how much I have to put towards one yet but its in the plans lol

so I just found out that one of my best friends from High School passed away in May. I am in complete shock over this. We were friends for 5 years and had reconnected on facebook a few years back. I have no clue what happened and cannot believe I am only hearing about it now.

I'm MOVING! Within the next month I am moving to NH and leaving MA. It is kinda last minute and I am still planning to move to Florida next year but my family is moving there and I don't really have much choice but to go with them. Should be interesting though!

I'm gonna update the popularity games tonight but just needed to say I'm sorry for the absence. Due to the move I haven't been able to post but I also just lost my cousin this past week, am absolutely devastated and cannot believe this has happened as it was unexpected.

I will be finishing the current Popularity games but beyond that I'm not sure that I'm going to continue them as there is not enough people coming here and it really isn't as fun as I'd like it to be. We'll see what happens though

The last time I put up a sign up thread for mafia I didn't get enough people to sign up to start a game. Kind of a bummer. I come up with game ideas all the time but there aren't enough people to play. I know we have several members who are dedicated and always check the board but I'm not sure there are enough of us anymore. Games attract people. I know this, but without enough people games arent as fun. 

On another note, Pete, I am sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss Pete.  My sincerest condolences.





All in all, I'd encourage both of you not to completely abandon the ship yet. Something'll turn up, just have to wait out the doldrums.

Just posting to say that I no longer have Internet access at home so will be unable to update anything until I move and get Internet set up there which is this weekend. Hopefully will only be without Internet until next week. 

Have also decided that I want to continue the popularity games and will work on that once I'm set up at the new house

I'm at my new home in NH and just got the internet set up! I will try and get on to update everything tonight, though still have a lot to do (unpacking and stuff).
