Section 1 is a covert anti-terrorist organization. Not even the Pentagon knows of it's existence. Their mission is to stop the terrorists from striking before they strike. But sometimes in Section 1, sacrifices are made for the greater good. Over the years many of those who have given their lives to the cause have become corrupt! Section 1 has to answer to only one person, the head of Oversight. Oversight is just as corrupt if not more so, than Section 1. Both Section 1 and Oversight are parts of an even larger organization known only as Center.
Section One has come under attack. A meeting was taking place in Committee with several top Operatives when a toxic gas started leaking in from the air vents of Section 1. A few of the operatives, including other agency specialists, managed to lock themselves inside of a safe zone free of the toxic gas. What they didn't know was that the person who planned the attack as well as the person who carried it out, were among those in the very room that saved all of their lives. After the air became stable, Section 1 was placed under Close Quarter Standby and locked down. No one at Section 1 was allowed to leave. Because Section 1 and Oversight do not trust each other, Center has sought out the help of one of their under cover agents inside Interpol to help in the investigation. Now Interpol is sending their top Agent to aid in the investigation.
Your job is to uncover the facts. Figure out who is telling the truth and who isn't. If your character has a nightly action you must send me a pm before the deadline for it to count. Here is a list of characters and what they can or can not do.
*All characters and ideas are based on the cancelled tv series La Femme Nikita
NikitaseerFalsely accused of killing a police officer, Nikita is sentenced to life in prison. Soon afterward, she is recruited into Section One when the organization fakes her suicide. As a Level 2 operative and the only truly innocent recruit into Section, her compassion and sympathy constantly conflicts with the often ruthless orders she is given. Nikita has the ability to read people well, and can tell if someone is innocent. During night rounds she will seek out one person to read. She will only be told if that person is innocent. If the person has a role, whether good or bad, she will be told that she is unable to read them.
Michaelbodyguard Michael was sent to prison for being part of a radicalized movement when he was a student who planned attacks on innocents in protests. Not long after being sent to prison, he is recruited into Section One and becomes one of their most successful and respected agents, and is a level 5 operative, the highest level one can get to. He is very dedicated to Section 1 and will do anything to protect it. Each night Michael will send me a pm and tell me the name of a person inside Section 1 he would like to protect (including himself). He may not protect the same person twice in a row. If the person he is protecting in the night is attacked, nothing will happen to him or that person.
OperationshunterVietnam war veteran, Lieutenant Paul Wolfe was recruited into Section One against his will just before the fall of Saigon. Operations eventually seizes control of the organization himself. He uses Section One as his own power base, gaining considerable control over dictators in many regions of the globe. This lust for power brings him into direct conflict with George, head of Oversight, who on many levels despises him. Operations being stubborn and hard headed wont go down without a fight. If he is lynched or killed he will fire off one shot from his gun at any person of his choosing. Each night he will send me a pm with the name of a person he would like to shoot. His shot will only count in the event of his untimely death. If he is lynched, the name he sent to me during the night before will be the person he fires a shot at. (see special notes on select characters for more information).
Special Notes:
If Madeline tries to interrogate him, she will be told her techniques failed.MadelineinterrogatorAs the executive strategist for Section One, Madeline is Operations's closest ally and confidante. The ultimate personification of Section One's ideals, she is cold and efficient in the execution of her duties, which often involve using torture to extract information from captured terrorist subjects. A master manipulator, she knows the psyche of each Section operative inside and out, and can push the right buttons to get what she wants from each one, each time. Each night she will send me a pm telling me of the person she wishes to interrogate. She one by one can learn the identity of that person. (see special notes on select characters for more information).
Special Notes:
If Operations fires a shot off at Madeline upon being lynched or night killed, his shot will miss.BirkoffSeymour Birkoff is Section One's resident genius, whose computer abilities are legendary, and who, as the head of Comm, supervises Section missions in progress. He and Walter are close friends despite their wide difference in age, and even Nikita is especially fond of him. He was born and raised inside Section 1 and has never known any other kind of life. He is completely innocent in this attack on Section 1 and has no special role assigned.
WalterThe oldest surviving operative in Section One, Walter is head of Munitions, responsible for creating new and necessary gadgets, tools and weapons for Section operatives to use on various missions. While initially attracted to Nikita upon her arrival into Section, he ultimately becomes her loyal friend and confidante, even participating in a cover-up to hide the ongoing romantic status of Nikita and Michael. He is completely innocent in the attack on Section 1 and has no special role assigned.
JurgenA ruthless, brutal high-ranked Section 1 operative. He has sensitive information about Section 1 that he isn't supposed to have. This allows him to get away with things that no one else can. Nikita is fascinated by Jurgen's freedom inside Section one. He was once Michael's mentor and Nikita's too. He has no special role assigned and is completely innocent in the attack on Section 1.
GeorgekillerHe is the head of Oversight, former lover of Adrian (the creator of Section 1) and enemy of Operations. He is one of the worlds most important people, yet, very few actually know of him. Madeline and Operations have been trying to get rid of him for years, even attempting to assassinate him on more than one occasion. He is the mastermind behind the attack on Section 1. Because there were survivors in the attack on Section 1, each night he and Hillinger discuss whom they want to kill. During night rounds, He must send me the name of the person that Hillinger is to attack. If Hillinger and George fail to send me the same name, the attack will be useless.
Special Notes:
If Adrian tries to block him, nothing will happen.
If Helmut tries to track him, he will be told that George visited no one in the night.
If Madeline tries to interrogate him, she will be told her interrogation techniques failed.
If Hillinger is lynched, George will have to start doing the dirty work himself and he will take over the killer role at which point, new rules will apply to George and will be stated at that time. AdrianblockerAdrian, the "Mother" (creator) of Section One, was over thrown in a coup orchestrated by Operations and Madeline. She seeks to destroy the Section to prevent it from taking over the world. Although she isn't in Section 1, she knows their system inside and out and has an army of operatives at her command within her own private organization. She is aware of the events at Section 1 and has put in place measures to block their attempt of finding out George is responsible for the attack. She is a baddie. She has no contact with anyone and has no knowledge of their whereabouts within Section 1. Every night round, she must send me the name of a person she would like to block. If the person she blocks has a nightly action, they will be unable to complete their task. If she tries to block George, her attempt to block him will fail. She can however, block Hillinger, or anyone else for that matter. (see special notes on select characters for more information).
Special Notes:
If Helmut tries to track her, he will be told she visited no one.
If Madeline tries to interrogate her she will be told her techniques failed.
If Hillinger tries to kill her, nothing will happen.
If Operations fires a shot at Adrian upon being lynched or night killed, his shot will miss.
If George and Hillinger are both lynched before her, she will take on the killer role and new rules will apply to her and be stated at that time.HillingerkillerBirkoff's rival in Section One. Greg Hillinger was a civilian under the protection of FBI. Being a wiz kid genius, there are many countries and organizations who, if given the opportunity, would use Greg for their own means. Section 1 kidnapped him during one of their missions and they never let him leave. Although he worked at Section 1, he became a mole for George, the head of Oversight. Greg Hillinger is a bad guy, carrying out Georges orders to a T. During the night rounds, Greg and George work together to come up with a target, but only Greg carries out the execution, thus protecting George's identity. Greg must send me a pm with the name of the person he and George agreed upon to kill during the night. If Greg fails to send me a name by the deadline, there will be no night kill. In the event that George is lynched, Hillinger will continue to kill upon his own free will. (see special notes on select characters for more information).
MickMick Schtoppel is just one of his cover names. Within Section 1 he is known as Mick, a Fabulously flashy, worldly informant. But really, Mick is posing as "Mr. Jones", the head of "Center", the organization above Oversight that directs Section 1. But he isn't really Mr. Jones either. In fact, his true identity proves him to be just an actor working for Center as a decoy for the real Mr. Jones. Being Mick Schtoppel, allows him to get close to Section 1, it's operatives and remain anonymous while doing so. He is completely innocent in the attacks on Section 1 and has no special role.
HelmuttrackerHelmut Volker, Interpols top undercover agent. He is the son of a wealthy industrialist. His family specializes in the manufacturing of weapons. He went undercover with Interpol to protect his father. Not even his family knows he is an agent of Interpol. He throws wild, lavish parties and specializes in drugs to hide his true identity. Called to duty, he is given very little information about his assignment but he reports to Center. During night rounds, he must send me a pm and list the name of the person who he wants to follow. He will be told who that person visited in the night if anyone, but will not be told anything else. (see special notes on select characters for more information).
Special Notes:
If Madeline tries to interrogate him, she will be told her techniques failed.RULES:
