| Well so far I think everyone has posted at least once, but some not much. But I'll take it that they were all watching the Cleveland Indians. | |

| It's really hard to know who's a witch on day 1 because we have nothing to go on unless someone really slips up. I suggest a no lynch because there are lots of night time actions that we can learn from. | |

| Howdy folks! Sorry I haven't posted, but it was Super Bowl weekend and all in case you weren't aware! I was gonna post last night, but I had a few drinks in me and would have been of no use. Now that I have read up on everything, I think I might be willing to agree with Cam at this point, but that's only because nobody has said anything, and the most drastic action so far has been Thian's vote. I think if we can drum up some good convo though, we might be able to get somebody to slip. In regards to Mandie's question, as indeed this has always been a pertinent question to me, as far as I know, PhocQ is the only one who hasn't posted yet. That seems to be the norm for him lately. He might be under the radar, or he might be blowing the game off, busy with "real life". As far as figuring this out goes, I feel asking the tough questions is always the best way to go, but there always seems to be that one person who is eager to accuse the questioner as 'looking for tips', so I think until we get over that hump, nothing is gonna get accomplished. So maybe bear with me here so we can get the ball rolling. I'll be gentle! 1. Why are you innocent?
2. Are past games important? Why?
3. Should we avoid a lynch in the first round and wait for the role-holders to make the first moves? My answers; 1. I am innocent because have done nothing wrong at this point. Of course I might slip up in the future and lynch an innocent based on misinformation, but I am not a Witch. In fact I weigh quite a bit more than a duck. 2. Yes and no. Mostly no, I think. When the same group of people plays the same game with each other enough times, they learn what the others are looking for in a bad guy, aka "they did this differently", so they play to those expectations. While an evil role has to be able to bend the facts just enough so they can hide, the facts even including others preconceptions of them, I think we have learned enough about each other that the evil ones among us could feed us lies quite easily while still maintaining character, at least for a couple rounds. Once we have a bunch of information within the context of this single game we can then use their early game actions and compare them to late game intentions. I have found in general, regardless of who is evil, those who rush lynches past round 3 to be the baddies. 3. I used to think yes, we should avoid a lynch in my first couple games, and then I felt no, we can't afford to sit around and twiddle our thumbs. Or other body parts. But if we sit around and never ask questions and play the "I dunno what to make of these one-liner posts" card, then we will definitely have to avoid a lynch, we can't just shoot in the dark, statistics prove against our favor. But keep in mind, if we don't lynch, that effectively eliminates 4 people from participating in the first round, and passes the torch onto the role holders, 5 good guys and 3 bad guys. It might be good odds, but then again that is a lot of trust to put in those 8 people, to protect the right players and investigate the suspicious, which I think can't be done effectively unless we ask some good questions in the first round, which leads me to question the notion. So in a nutshell, I find it odd that Cam wants to avoid a lynch, but it could end up being a good defensive move if we can't get some good banter going. *phew*

| Why am I innocent? because I won't be lying in this game with my reasons for votes. a with will. Past games important no, I've said time and time again, people can play differently each game Avoid a no lynch? No, there should be no reason to avoid a lynch. Everyone banks on night powers to do the work and hopefully get a witch. What happens on a no lynch? 1. An innocent is BOUND to die due to the witches taking them. 2. the witches will be 1 step ahead of us for the rest of the game 3. we learn nothing from a night kill. What happens on a lynch 1 We have votes to analyse 2. We have lower the amount of suspects 3. We may hit a witch first off, putting us ahead of the witches I'm going to be a believer in lynching on day 1. We are smart enough to ask questions that will involve a healthy debate, and we are all capable of at least putting a vote down. Putting a vote on someone, should never be a scary thing, it doesn't mean you will be out right away, unless 7 people decide what you say in defending yourself is fishy. I know some people like to be absolutely sure where you vote, and heavily rely on power roles to do most of the work. Never be afraid of voting, even if you are unsure. test your theories out, and if they are wrong well you learn to pick apart what people say a bit more | |

| Stacie: Just some advice to help you get started ((my own opinion of course)) Ask questions to anyone. It is good you don't really know people because then you can be impartial to what they say. Watch their reasons for voting the way they do. Since everyone is just as equally guilty at this point, you may want to ask questions that will help you identify who is lying and who isn't hope that helps | |

Did the Clippers win? 1. Why are you innocent? Because I am lol2. Are past games important? Why? Sometimes. I feel sometimes people might act differently when they are guilty compared to normal. Depends on the person really. There are a select few in the games who act the same no matter what their role, if they have one, is. Then there's the fairly inactives who suddenly become super active when they have a bad role. And then there's the actives who try to lay low when they're a bad guy, so that no one will look at them. So sometimes it pays to look at past actions. 3. Should we avoid a lynch in the first round and wait for the role-holders to make the first moves? I've always been a fan of a no lynch for the first round and I don't think I'm going to stop any time soon.

| "why" am I innocent? lol because I AM INNOCENT. Are past games important? To me they arent. I dont really pay attention to what each of you have done in past games. But, I will say that I do notice things sometimes. Some people are outspoken, some are quiet...some are airheads (like me). I can tell you what I don't like, I dont like it when someone puts a vote on someone else and then all of a sudden everyone wants to jump on that bandwagon. It gives the bad guys a chance to "blend" in with the good guys when this happens. im going to be paying attention to that. To Lynch or Not to Lynch...... I have said yes to this question in the past and I have also said no to this question. Both times, I feel like people jumped on me for my opinion. So, To be honest, I dont know if we should lynch or not. I personally don't care if we do or not. If we do though, Please Please...Think carefully before you vote. We can't afford to lynch an innocent person. | |
