Witches 2 ~ Hocus Pocus Day 1

For the record, I didnt get any witchy vibe from Donna.

I think the reason why you aren't getting much vibe from donna is her lack of posting anything reasonable so currently she is null at this point.

It is and isn't, really. I am not convinced she is a witch, but when are we ever going to be convinced if she continues to post like she has? She posts a lot, but is all "Don't pick on me you big bully!" if that is the only defense it will take to keep a potential witch in the game can we really afford to keep her around? Can we afford to go into the night phase without some sort of solid, unquestionable starting point for next round? I think not, so I am trying to get a lynch going.

I have no 100% reads on anybody right now, and I am concerned about the people who say the least. If Dragonldy suddenly shows up and shows me the light, I will switch to either Virt or PhocQ.

Okay, I'm posting from my phone so I'm not gonna make this all pretty but...mandie you bring up a good point about dragonly. I didn't think about it like that but i don't feel that I should keep my vote on her so I retract. K gotta turn off phone.

Yes, I realize it appears to be a retalation vote against PhocQ. But I do stand by my reasoing. If he had a more valid reason to accuse me, rather than having casual conversation at the START OF THE GAME where you're just meeting some peple on a more personal level, then I wouldn't be so suspicious of him. To answer your question, yeah I feel that's exactally what PhocQ was attempting in the attempt to have the target placed on non-witch players staright from the get go.

This is basically why I get that weird vibe that he is a baddie. Because he doesn't explain himself yet just keeps on pointing the finger at you. You'd think a good investigator/parent/nurse/whatever would at least make a valid point to help us and not hinder us in finding a witch.

I still don't have a clear indication on who is a witch at this point in time, but Id rather have people in the game who say something, rather than say nothing. My vote is for Virtuano.

Was in a rush to post my vote but here are my reasons.


Kyle, you have been asked more than once to be more transparent.
Simply pointing your finger and saying Mandie is a witch is not getting the group anywhere.

Avoiding the requests for what reason? Innocents should never have any reason not to answer questions when asked, or oblige to a few clarifications on your thoughts and opinions.

Your comments have been to me, a type of active lurking and it goes along with people who are inactive and who do not post at all and that is equally detrimental to the group.

Your vote against mandie to me looks like a bus attempt to distance yourself from Mandie.

Mandie, i know it isn't your character to really go out there and question people and you are more of an observer, but I can't shake this feeling that perhaps you really didn't know what to say when kyle started coming at you with a vote, it seemed like it came as a shock or a surprise that he would do it ((I know he is a friend)) however to me it translates to a semi shock if he is your partner, why would he do that type of response.

That being said, I believe kyle to be more Witch, than Mandie and my vote will go there for the time being.

The votes are spread way to thin at this point, and deadline is tomorrow. Keep that in mind everyone.

It actually was a shock. He had just stated that DerB and Cam were shady. And then all of a sudden now I am the shady one. I didnt know if he voted me thinking I was innocent and he was trying to get people to show their hands, or if he really thought I was a witch. It is my nature to state what I feel and then leave it at that. I am not one to try to convince people and badger them. I've said it before I'll say again, Im innocent and I dont really care if people believe me or not. When I leave the game and yall see my role you will know I told the truth. Why should I care if people believe me or not? I know I am innocent. If people don't believe me than they should lynch me, because there is no greater sacrafice in a game than to sacrafice yourself to save others. I have no problem giving my life in this game to save others.

I am a little disappointed that we are gonna go after the newbie with no experience in the game (I've been there). Not a good way to invite new faces into our fold.

I am gonna stick to my guns here, and try and give him a chance at round two.

Really we have no proof to chase after anybody here, words can be picked apart down to the letter and I bet we will find that the witches (except for one, maybe) blended in so well we will be shocked come the end of the game *coughlurkerscough*. So with trying to keep the game lively:

he may be a newbie to the game, so he claims, but that doesn't mean he can't answer questions and stop being so vague.

Hey guys, I'm back again. I was without internet yesterday because Hampton Inn wifi doesn't like my computer. I was down at school.

BUT I'm back, and I'm eager to read all the posts I've missed

Alright so I've read through what I needed to catch up on.

Mandie, you're doing great and have been posting a lot. Like Thian said, just ask those questions and if people think you're being nosey or whatever, lynch em! That'll show em lol. Kidding, anyway...

Thian's very active as well which is awesome, and I'd expect no less from him

I still haven't really seen much reason to lynch anyone this round, but some more votes have been thrown around, which helps. I'm a big "look at the votes and find patterns" kinda guy, so yay Though 1 vote on lots of different people is almost more random than anything. Some people have placed votes on inactives, and it's hard to tell what their roles are if they don't post a bunch.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only game that we've ever had a hit in round one was on Brant. Most of the time we're too confused to hit a baddie. I just think it's more advantageous to sit back, ask lots of questions, observe where votes are being thrown, watch someone die in the night, figure out why that person was targeted, use the good people's night actions and figure out our baddies from there. Commas ftw.

I'm not going to vote yet. I think it might be best to vote for someone who isn't very active like Phoc or Virtuoso. They still could be witches, but staying under the radar. I hope they're ok and just too busy to post.

Tiff, I know his short bursts aren't much help, but surely we can learn more from his stance if we lynch somebody who we can't read? He at least takes his own stances, hasn't bandwagoned and doesn't seem too concerned for his own safety. None of this sounds like a witch to me.

Kyle, would you mind answering the questions I asked earlier? Answering questions is a good way to let people know where you are at in this game, and asking questions is just as important. Voting and pointing fingers is the last step, although they can be a great tool for squeezing some tougher answers out of folks. What I have asked:

1. Why are you innocent?

2. Are past games important? Why

3. Should we lynch this round or wait for the role holders to make the first move in the night phase?
