Mafia - Paradise - Day 1

Just with gut instinct, I'd feel more comfortable voting for 3-4 other people more so than Virtuanno. I don't agree with him targeting Mandie, but I at least get where he was coming from when he accused her. Why he's edited and been inconsistent, I'm not sure, but I suppose it's best to get some clarification on that. Plus this seems like the best name to get a united vote.

Therefore, I vote to lynch Virtuanno.

I'm a bit confused as to what went down with Virtuanno because I wasn't around to read what he originally posted before it was edited. I'll gladly vote for him if it makes sense to me to do so.

Gonna go back and read a bit more carefully to try and figure this out.

Alright well upon reading more carefully, Virtuanno does seem quite shady, so I'm Voting to lynch Virtuanno.

He back pedaled a lot in his posts after the one he edited, trying to explain why he misspoke. I have my eye on Thian though if this vote doesn't hit a baddie.

it is fine to have your eye on me, but you also should watch Dragontear who jumped right behind you on that lynch as well. If you guys are not voting together, it means you both are not husband and wife, and he easily sheeped onto your concept of why you voted me. he didn't even have his own independent thought, he just saw some easy place to put a vote. and made an excuse.

just keep it in mind as well. these are the things you need to watch out for. Just as people in the foreground are shady in your opinion, actions of others are just as shady as well. I suggest Dogdude you go back and take a look at the reason you gave, and then take a look at dragontears reason for voting me and you will see he's just parroting your idea. If you guys are not linked. I highly recommend questioning why the parrot response and jumping onto the vote along side of you. this can make you look guilty later on if he tries to pass blame onto you for trying to start a bandwagon.

Oh don't worry, I do have my eye on DT, I just never really said anything about it.

What prevented that suspicion from being brought up in the first place? You know what I mean right? the more you hold back, the more we don't know what is on your mind and the less likely anyone can trust what you say if you aren't willing to state all of your suspicions.

I don't know what Virtu posted and then deleted or what all that crap was bout, but it seems Virtu still has a lot of learning to do in these games.

Virtu, either you are diong a terrible job as an innocent or a terrible job as a mafia. People will pick up on even the smallest thing to use against you so to start going back and editing your posts is going to get you inevitably lynched.

I think there are already 7 votes on Virtu so he only needs one more. I ain't much of a carpenter but boy-oh-boy do I like dropping hammers.

Mandie, when I was asking about the time on the site I meant when you weren't logged in. When I'm not logged in the board time seems to change randomly. Time stamps for posts will say one thing one minute and a completely different time the next.

Nobody having any idea what I am talking about is making me think I may be losing my marbles.

sorry i have not posted in a little while, ive just started a new job, and ive been busy.......and tired waking up at 4am is not fun QQ. but just to let you know my thian vote was pretty much for fun and giggles. it had no meaning, besides that we could actually vote for him, but i would like to keep him in the game just because hes al ot of fun, and i would like to actually see his game. now for those suspicious of me, im not going to tell you not to vote for me, but i am SURE there are bigger threats. but i am not going to move my vote just retract it

See, now you are being honest about your original vote instead of mimicking cam, which wasn't an honest reason as to why you voted.

So if you could place a vote right now, where do you feel you should put it? Is there any person who has struck you as acting out of the ordinary? or their responses not sitting well in your mind?

I was at the movies when this went down but I want to say to Dragontear, Thian, Virtuanno, Tiffani, please respect the rules and DO NOT post after a majority has been reached. The campers eyed each other and stood silent for what seemed like an eternity. Finally someone spoke up. "Let's take down camp and hike back to the bus. We can't just stay out here after...after that."

Another camper chimed in "But the bus left and won't be back to pick us up for 5 days. We're miles from anywhere and I already checked - I have no cell service out here. We should sit down and talk about what to do."

The group seated themselves around the campsite and a discussion broke out. Accusations were made back and forth, while some sat quietly shrugging their shoulders. One camper brought up searching everyone's bags. Another said that was unconstitutional. But soon it was apparent that no matter how they went about this, it was either kill or be killed. They needed to hunt out the guilty person or persons among them and protect themselves.

It was decided there would be questioning. One person thought of a list of questions and said everyone should answer. This could possibly give something away, they thought. Others joked around and drew angry glares from other members of the group.

The finger-pointing began with one person quick to point at Hank Richards (Virtuanno) for suggesting that people had their right to privacy and shouldn't have to tell the group everything. "What?!" the camper exclaimed, "You are only saying this because you have something to hide. You must be guilty yourself!"

Others were also suggested but soon the majority was looking straight at Hank Richards. Some thought, there is no way that Hank Richards, retiree and gardener, was a part of the mafia. The idea was preposterous. Others decided that his behavior was still suspicious. As the group eyed Hank, he began to back toward a tree. "No, you've got it wrong. You're all wrong! It's not me!" But mob mentality took over and with wildness and fear in their eyes, Hank was overpowered, a noose placed around his neck with the other end of the rope thrown over the branch of the tree. Two of the campers began hoisting the rope and Hank's feet left the ground, he began gasping and struggling for air. The mob cheered the two pulling on the rope. "Lynch him! Lynch him!" until Hank's face began turning blue, his eyes rolled back in his head. He finally stopped struggling and hung limp.


Soon it was as if half the group had just woke from a trance. They stared at Hank's lifeless body and then at each other. What had they done?

Father Matthews (vastfantastic) had not taken part in this horrible incident but had stood aside watching in horror. He had tried to calm the group but no one could even hear him over their shouts. No sooner had the lynching group realized they had just killed a man, they heard a gasp behind them. Everyone turned to look at Father Matthews clutching at his heart and falling to the ground.

The doctor rushed to his side. "I think he's having a heart attack. This must have been too much for him." The doctor tried, but Father Matthews was quickly slipping away.


Police Chief Katherine Sullivan (Kenya) pushed people out of her way and knelt besides him. "No! No, Peter!" She looked at the doctor, and the doctor's head shook slowly back and forth, letting her know it was too late. Katherine began sobbing. "Oh no. Not my Peter! Don't leave me my darling!"

The group was shocked. They had no idea these two were having an affair. The Chief then looked up at the crowd, her face tear-stained. "He was my husband! We kept it secret because of the church."

Suddenly, without warning, the Chief pulled a gun out of a holster she wore under her jacket. In a matter of seconds she had the weapon pointed to her head and she pulled the trigger. Her lifeless body slumped over her husband, Father Matthews.


There they stood - 12 people who had come out into the wilderness to enjoy the company of each other now had three deaths on their hands....and possibly someone among them that had written that note...

Someone finally broke the silence and suggested they cut Hank's lifeless body down and move all three bodies somewhere away from camp. As Hank's body was lowered to the ground, someone searched his pockets. A piece of paper was found. It looked like a match to the partial note someone found earlier. This was the bottom of the note and it read:



"You will receive further instructions later. For now, stay alert and wait for my orders.
~ Boss"



Mouths gaped open as they realized they had just lynched - The Mafia Boss!

Vigilante, you may send in the name of a target for your bomb if you wish

Prostitute, you may send in the name of a person whose powers you would like to disable
Twins, you may each send in the name of a person you want to investigate as your long lost twin
Mafia/Undercover Cop, you may send in your choice of who you wish to kill during the night
