Person A inserts an object of their choice
Person B responds with what person A gets and then proceeds to put in their own contribution to the vending Machine.

Example:
Cindy posts: inserts 25 cents
David posts: You recieve 20 jelly beans, inserts a fried egg
Adam Posts: you recieve a live chicken, inserts a pair of shoes
