OrgPlanet Biggest Loser?

I know someone mentioned it, and I'm wondering if anyone is serious about it?

We could do weekly threads with the exercises we do and how much weight we've lost. We could even make challenges and stuff that people can try to do during the week. Like community goals.

I'd be willing to "co-host" it if someone else is into it. I know a couple people had resolutions to lose weight and get in better shape, and I've always been curious to see if I could lose weight if I tried, so I'd love to see what we could do.

Respond with your interest, and we can kick it off whenever! Even if we've just got a couple people, I'd be fine putting the effort forth. And people can always jump on later.

This would be interesting... and I agree, I could use the motivation. We can be a community determined to get thin!! I think we should post pics of ourselves each week too, lol.

How are we gonna do Biggest Loser if we don't talk about weight?? I suppose you could just post your progress, and not your totals...but still... =_=

I weigh more than I look like I do, lmao. So I'd rather not state an actual number You guys can all state totals and progress, but I'd rather state just progress

So I guess Jess and I should start thinking about how we're gonna do this. It won't really be that intense. It'll just be weekly threads, and at the beginning of the thread we'll have some tasks, and then each day post what you did to help yourself and when you complete the task

Can we get an official list of people involved? And is there a way we could get a Biggest Loser of the Month rank? That way we've got at least a teeny bit of incentive

People can be as involved as they want. If you have suggestions, let me and Jess know! If you want to do pictures, do that. If you want to do video blogs, all the more entertaining for us

1. I'm not posting pics, as I do not own a scale (sooo I'm not exactly sure how I will measure progress? xD Guess I'll need to pick one up at Walmart...) and I doubt I would want to anyways! lol But progress reports and motivation would be good :D
2. Suggestion: When my high school did this, they calculated winners based on a percentage of weight lost, not pounds. Since a 120lb person losing 10 pounds isn't the same as a 250lb person losing 10 pounds. So you would track the percentage of your weight that you lost every week instead of the actual number of pounds. Make sense?

Also it turned my 8 ) into a smiley. Which I'm 100% okay with :D
