Mafia - Paradise - Day 5

The night came quickly. The eight survivors were now more wary of each other than ever. Would they be safe this night, or would tragedy welcome them again in the morning hours?

Some people went to their tents and snuggled in for the long night ahead. A few stayed by the fire, prolonging the inevitable. Once they retired for the night, it was unknown whether they would ever see the light of day again. Finally, the last few left the fire and climbed into their tents to get some sleep.

A few hours passed and one camper awoke with a start. Someone was in her tent. She gasped at the shadowy figure outlined against her tent wall by the moonlight.

"It's okay, Doc. It's just me. Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. You need to come with me - someone's hurt!"

"Oh my God! What happened?"

"I went into the woods behind camp - you know, to use the 'restroom' and I found her laying there. She's bleeding a lot, Doc. Hurry, there's no time to explain! Grab your bag and follow me!"

Joanne Fisher had been a doctor in Paradise for many years. She took her oath seriously and couldn't refuse when it came to saving another's life. She dressed quickly, put on her shoes and jacket, grabbed her medical bag and followed her late night visitor out into the dark woods.

Joanne ran to keep up, she had forgotten to bring a flashlight, but the person leading her had one. She followed the light, calling out when they were too far ahead.

"Wait, you are too far ahead. How much farther?"

"Follow my voice. We need to hurry, Doc. Just follow my voice!"

The doctor followed but the light faded as she fell farther behind her companion. She kept going, determined to keep up, but soon the light was gone completely and she found herself following blindly in the dark woods.

"Where are you? I can't see you anymore. Wait for me!"

But there was only silence. Joanne slowed to a walk, the moon was shrouded by clouds which made it extremely difficult to see where she was going. She kept walking straight, hoping she would catch up and see the light again. She called out again, but received no answer. All she heard were the sounds of the night.

She looked back toward the direction she had come but there was no sign of the camp, either. She was lost in the dark with no way to figure out which direction she should be headed. She slowed her pace and tried to listen. She heard an owl and the sound of leaves rustling in the wind, but no voices were heard.

All of a sudden she heard a twig snapping somewhere behind her. She whirled around.

"Is that you? Hello?"

A flashlight was switched on and shone into her face.

"Oh, thank God! I thought I lost you. How much farther? Is it around here?"

No answer.

The doctor squinted and tried to shield her eyes from the direct light.

"Can you shine that lower? You're blinding me."

"Sorry doc." The words finally came and Joanne let her breath out, recognizing the familiar voice. But the light remained in her eyes. She heard a 'click' and started toward the light.

"What are you doing? Lower the light. Where is she?"

"Right here, doc. Right where you're standing."

"What? Where?"

The doctor looked down and spun around, but saw no one.

"I don't understand. There is no one here."

"Ah, but there is, Joanne. But I'm not sure if you'll be able to treat yourself. Not with a bullet in you, at least."

"Oh my God! It's YOU? But, why?"

"Many reasons. None of which we have time for right now. Say your prayers, doc. And be sure to say hi to Jeff."

The figure lifted the gun and aimed straight for her heart. At the moment of impact, the flashlight was lowered and Dr Joanne Fisher stared into the eyes of her killer as she took her last breath. Her body slumped to the ground and she was dead.

In the morning, seven people arose and greeted each other. It wasn't long until it was noticed that the doctor wasn't among them. Two groups headed out to the woods to look for her. They found her body laying exactly where she had died. Her medical bag had fallen beside her. On her chest there was a note. It read:

"Not even the doctor can save you now!"

WOW, that really sucks. I had a feeling the mafia would go for the doctor over me because all I can do is prove who is not mafia when there is a night kill but I can't prove who is the traitor nor can I prove someone IS mafia if there is no night kill, so why waste a kill on me right? With the doctor around to save lives, there was a bigger chance of the town winning.

Of course now this means our speaking cast and dependable to vote cast has gotten smaller and chances are we might end up stuck with a no lynch Sad

Alright, So someone died last night. They must have done this on purpose, not night killed, and then night killed...to absolutely framed me, Tiff, who did you end up looking at last night? This could be vital information.

DragonTear..........................I was going to do Dragonlady but figured that would be a waste, I really dont' think she's mafia. I could be dead wrong, but I just dont' feel it for her. It came down to DT or DD(dogdude lol) because I think basically one of the other Ds will get lynched, if we're lucky lol

Anyone else see a pattern here? Until derBmoose died there were SIX cast members starting with a D and then just us two lonely little Ts lmao No one else that died began with a D until our lovely doctor died. I'm beginning to think that Jackie had a secret secret twist in the game called.............get the Ds to the end lmfao

So Thian, that leaves you and I to break the Ds in half and since we're T-N-T, we can do that Wink

Alright, so, if DT was your target, where do you think at this point would be a good starting point? Since it is pretty much you and I right now who are actively participating.

DT is mafia. I've wanted to kill him for over nine thousand rounds but no one else ever agrees. Except Thian.

I'm so positive that I'm going to vote to lynch him right now.

wow that really sucks, poor derb. yay i slept with tiff..... so who do you think it could be?, could it still be one of the inactive players?, who don't have time to post but they have time to vote to kill one of us? could it be DJ?, im not to sure. it could still be dragonldy, and shes lynchable this round too...... im just stumped.. i dont want to think its thian, or tiffani. so whos left?

See that is one thing I noticed, now, Tiff, you had reservations about voting for her, but why is that?

I mean she has come on, and voted which is good to have in game, but she comes on and quickly jumps into things when it suits her.

well im starting to find dragonldy suspicious. to me it seems like shes hiding something. shes pretty much only posted when she's gonna finish someone off, or if she has too when were pointing the finger at her. so im gonna throw a vote for now, it can always be changed if it must

I am gonna hold my vote just for a minute here I am happy with a Dragonldy lynch myself just for the matter of fact that her vote is so volitile and seems so advantageous.

however I do want to hear from Tiff too about this, cuz she is important in on this decision here.

hahaha I swear i was JUST here and now I have like a zillion posts to read lol I WAS going to sleep with dragonlady but thought it would be a waste, but the more the numbers dwindle down the more I think she definitely could be mafia, just laying under cover. I don't know, I just get the feeling that she's acting the same as usual, except the one time she WAS a baddie lmao
But like JK, I'm willing to vote her ass out.

I think the reason why she's so noticeable as being so MIA in this game is because we dont' have a lot of talkers like usual. Because I've always noticed that Dragonlady comes on just to jump on a bandwagon or point fingers when she's targeted. It's just so typical of her.
