ZOMG lame I didn't realize all of the old episodes were only payable. That's where I watched all of them before but I suppose the links were taken down. I assume you've tried surfthechannel and that was your reference to the seven different websites?

HOLY SHIT........when they were advertising the great GAGA episode I was like "Well this will be fun, but it won't be good, much like the Madonna episode." Which, no, I wasn't a fan of that episode, I thought it was a LOT of fun, but I think Glee shines brightest when they are driven by plot which is really surprising considering the plot was the weakest aspect of the show in the first half of the season.

Anyway, I really think last night's episode was the best episode they've ever done. I couldn't believe all the amazing dramatic scenes that were in the GAGA episode...I mean...GAGA? That just blew me away. It's a little ridiculous but I think that was kind of the point, they took this ridiculous backdrop and concept and set some really touching emotional stories around it.

And nothing portrayed that more than Rachael and her mom singing Poker Face. Like, holy shit. I was already like a little emotional from the previous 20 minutes, which is hard to get that reaction out of me and even harder to admit, HAHA, but when they sang I broke down and by the end of it I was in tears and I can't believe it. They took this playful song about sex and sexuality and had a mother and daughter sing it...very inappropriate...and it worked so amazingly because they DIDN'T go with some overly dramatic number from The Way We Were or some shit but just showed them having fun which really is all they could do with each other, they couldn't get in touch with those real emotions and it just moved me. I thought it was beautiful.

I've ragged on Glee a lot because I don't think it puts out a consistantly good program, at least not in the first half of the season, but I've always liked it...but last night (or, well, 10 minutes ago when I watched it) was the first time I was actually impressed and was glad the show was on the air. And I just felt like sharing because it was such an awesome experience.

Also I can't believe that I've gotten used to Rachael's character and no longer want to hit her with a rock. That wasn't just from last night's episode but a building thing that I realized last week. WEIRD!

That "I'm Marvelous" part, by the way, is where I lost my composure.

OMG loved this week's episode. So much better than last week's.

ugh, this week bored the shit out of me.

I thought last week's episode was kinda like that. And Kurt pisses me off.

This week was really fun to watch for me. Voc Ad's song was fun, and Jesse needs to have his nuts ripped off. Quinn's song was ridiculous and hilarious with the labor breathing. Their final song was just fun, and ...

Jesse: They just did a funk song. We've never been able to pull off a funk song.
Bitchgirl: That's because we're soulless automatons.
Jesse: I'm so depressed.

I laughed so hard at this exchange.

Also the cheerios losing their will to live was hilarious too.

And omg Will romancing Sue was epic.

Will romancing Sue...I feel like they tried but it was just such a misstep in the terms of the characters for the sake of a joke. And that Kurt/Finn storyline drives me crazy because you just know Ryan Murphy jerks off to it every night. It is such a highschool boy's little fantasy storyline...it's way gross. But I find it so amusing how tragic they make Finn's life because like...seriously...he's so pointless. I think Entertainment Weekly put him on the list of "Main Characters a show should kill to make their show better." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

This week's songs were so bad, but Quinn's was at least funny.

All the stuff relating to Sue is usually classic but I also found that over the top in a bad way this episode........except for the Cheerios not being able to handle not competing, that was hysterical. But for me that was the like one part of the episode I found entertaining. It makes me sad because I think each episode since they got back were getting better and better...but this one was like one of the episodes from the first half of the season where they didn't try to understand their characters and just put in situations for them to sing certain songs.
