| *raises hand* I'm over it already, and here's why: 1. Crappy bed (it's broken and lopsided -- at school it is not) 2. Crappy shower (next to no water pressue; I literally crouch down underneath the small bit of water that falls out of the showerhead -- at school I have great water pressure, unlimited hot water, and a bathtub) 3. Crappy internet connection (can't even barely watch Youtube videos -- not a whole lot better, but at least I can watch Hulu) 4. Crappy television (no cable -- at school I has it) 5. Crappy food (yes, believe it or not, the food at home is worse than what I eat at school; the stew I mentioned the other day was an exception) 6. Dad (a complete moron who I manage to get into arguments with constantly despite the fact that I try to keep myself from doing so...they never get anywhere -- clearly at school I do not have dad) However, I will cite a few positives: 1. My mom and my brother; I enjoy them. 2. The dog and my cats; I enjoy them as well. 3. Free laundry. 4. Free food (even if it's crappy). 5. Free time -- this is the biggest pro. I can read as long as I want, I can play video games as long as I want, and I have nothing to worry about in the realm of school work | |

I'm totally over it. Other than seeing the 2 [3 I suppose, but she's on my nerves already] friends that I still have at home, I'm done with being here lol. Plus my mom is off all this week and going to be ridiculously annoying the entire time >.<
And YESSS to the crappy water pressure. It's crazy that our dorm showers are better than at home.

| I know! People get all excited to go home, because a house SHOULD be better than a dorm, but nooope. Not in the case of the household Fink. Showers, television, food, heat, etc. All worse. Bwargh. I'm reading a lot of Harry Potter too, which just makes me wish I lived at Hogwarts. I believe that the feasts are all-you-can-eat. I would assume so at the very least. | |

| I'm lucky enough to go back on the 3rd, but I'll probably be back for the 4th for the Survivor casting call I don't start classes until two weeks after I go back (sorry, Jessie), because I'm working with the Department on room swaps and new room assignments. It's gonna be a blast...not. | |

| I've read the first 5 like 3 times and the rest only once. My plan for this break was to read all of them again but that hasn't happened yet because my mom is home and I have to sit downstairs and watch her dumb shows and TCM all day...
Yeah, I don't get to go back until the 13th [I think?] :[

| I'm happy I'm home for break! My Nanny flew out from England to spend Christmas with us, and I only get to see her every few years. That being said, she makes me constantly do the dishes, make her tea, clean the living room, etc. etc., when I'd usually just hit on my laptop. But the internet at home sucks. The shower is WAY better here, so there's a good thing, I get to do my laundry for free (woot!), and the food...well... I live in an apartment, and I prefer the food I cook for myself over my mom's cooking. But that's only because I cook crap with no nutritional value. So technically my mom's cooking is better, even if my tastebuds disagree | |
