Mafia - Paradise - Day 2

I am torn between Termy and JK at this point as they both have done nothing. I don't want to lynch a possible person that is going to help.

Well, in case I fall asleep and get lynched, IF anyone is foolish enough to counter claim that and I am lynched and you find out I am telling the truth, you know who to kill lol OBVIOUSLY
I can only tell you who is mafia if I seduce mafia and disable their power for one night. I really hope my target will be mafia and not the doctor, but I expect to only last one night after this. But will be able to either, tell you two people who are NOT mafia, OR leave it as is, so as not to endanger them............that's my biggest dilemma. Also, it doesn't clear the traitor though lol But I may be able to save a life if I seduce the right person tonight.

My vote remained open and I made clear which 4 people I was willing to vote for, those people already having votes against them; not trying to start entirely new strings of votes when there is no time to explore them.

I fully realize how bad this will make me look if I am wrong to get you lynched, but at least I am being proactive. I would also advise you to carefully use your ability during the night should you be saved and if you are telling the truth. Sometimes your 'obvious' can be seen as 'oblivious' to others.

So if I follow people in votes I'm suspicious and if I vote independently for someone no one else suspects, I'm suspicious?

There is only so much "careful" a person can take in a game full of people where half are suspicious and half aren't, and only two are mafia.

If you seduce a mafia, does that mean their kill won't work since they won't be voting the same? Or does it just go to the one mafia who can then vote without the other (since his/her partner is seduced).

If Tiff picks the right person tonight, and it works, she's telling the truth. Or she got lucky and someone else picked a mafia to hinder.

Correct. Nobody is ever not suspicious to me. I am never 100% certain of anyones role, but I have enough confidence in my suspicions to place me vote on you. Plus, you are incredibly oversimplifying my motives, which I believe were articulated well and very transparent. You, on the other hand, had to be prodded and pried about your actions. You must look at your posts from my point of view to see why I suspect you so: How are they not suspicious?

Up until now, we had to rake you across hot coals to find out why you posted and voted the way you did, and now you post what in my eyes is probably the most transparent move you have made in the game, albeit a very bold one. I am incredibly reluctant to pull my vote off of you because it is just going to make me look like a waffler out to get any old lynch I can get my grubby paws on. However, time is running out here and I think anyone that agreed with my case has showed up and jumped ship already, so in the interest of getting as much information as we can out of this round:

After the sad discovery of Jeff's body, the eleven campers sat down at the campsite to discuss the events of the previous day and night. With new evidence from Jeff's recorded message, they had learned that Jeff had been infiltrating the Mafia and had been discovered...and killed before he had a chance to warn the other innocents in the group. It was now more important than ever to stick together and try to ferret out Jeff's murderer, or murderers. Again accusations were made among the group and people were on edge.

"We have to figure out a systematic way of doing this," someone suggested. "And we need to try to stick together. We're obviously not safe - especially at night."

"That's right - we need to protect ourselves. It's kill or be killed!"

"Now, let's not get too crazy, here. Four people have died - and three of them were innocent. Let's find a peaceful way to handle things."

"Peaceful? Jeff's death was anything but peaceful. That could have been you! I, for one, am not going to be a sitting duck. Someone in this group is a killer and we need to figure out who."

"I heard someone creeping around last night."

"I thought I heard someone, too."

Again, the finger-pointing began. But one camper's odd silence didn't go unnoticed.

"Leah, you haven't said a word. Are you hiding something?"

Leah Samuels, who had been Judge Wright's secretary for years, looked back at her accuser. "Me? I - I've just been listening. Why are you looking at me?"

"That's right. Leah, how do we know it wasn't you? You were closer to the Judge than anyone. Maybe you were the one who tipped the Mafia off. Maybe you are the Mafia!

"No! I had no idea what was going on. And, okay, I did get up last night but I swear I didn't kill anyone."

"Why were you up? You could have told us this earlier but you didn't. You shot Jeff, didn't you!"

"You've got it all wrong. I had to check on something..but it wasn't me! It was personal!"

"Personal? What could be so important with what has been going on here? Why can't you tell us?"


The group all began eyeing Leah, as she looked back, horrified.

"Tie her up! We need to search her bag!"

"Yes, get her! Tie her to the tree!"

The group converged on Leah, grabbing her and pulling her over to the tree. They tied her hands behind her and pushed her back against the tree - the same tree they had used to hang the Mafia Boss. She began to cry as everyone shouted at her.

"Please, please! I was just searching for my-"

"For your what? Your next victim? I don't believe a word you say! We can't let her live - she's a cold-blooded killer!"

Someone grabbed rope and began tying it around Leah, anchoring her to the tree. The rope was pulled tight as it was wound around her, her cries became choking sounds and then she began gasping for air. Her struggling and gasping became more frantic.

"Wait, the rope is around her neck. You are choking her!"

"She deserves it! Dirty lying scum!"

"But, we don't know for sure!"

But it was too late. Leah's body finally stopped moving and her head drooped down. Leah was dead.


Just then someone silenced the group. "Stop! I found this in her bag! Holding up a piece of paper, they showed it to the rest of the group."

"What is that?"

"It's Leah's birth certificate. Well, what does that prove?"

"That's not all. There was also this letter. Apparently she has been searching for her twin. This letter is from a detective agency to Leah. The detective was very close to finding them. That could have been what she was looking for last night. There isn't anything else there. Leah was telling the truth. I think we just killed an innocent woman."
