Cast is releeeased!

Love JJ, he's a true fan of the show. Much better than Mac-tors.

Cast looks interesting, could be great TV. I worry about the ratings, however. So many old people. They're gonna have to be engaging or people that aren't reality nerds will tune out.

I think old people are way more interesting, because they're not just pretty bodies. I mean...I don't know a whole lot about television ratings and all that, but I hope that people don't watch Survivor simply because there's a babe in a bathing suit or a dude with nice abs. That's just stupid and pointless.

Yeah, seriously. Why do you think Big Brother is just a frat house?

The idea is that the attractive people would get people to turn in, and then the personality will get people to stay. Even if the mactors are dull.... America will keep watching in case they do something... and will take in the view along the way. With a less-attractive cast, you're counting on people already wanting to tune-in, and then are captivated by personality. If there isn't any, there is no hotness to tease them into staying anyway.

Earlier seasons had less attractive casts, but it worked because the show was new and getting media attention, drawing people in to see what the show was about.

Obviously to us fans we're totally cool with the idea.... but again ratings could suffer. (not to mention Survivor moved to Wed.) And if ratings aren't there, the show will not continue.

There are so many risks this season. I hope it doesn't fail.
