Werewolf 3 - Timber Valley Day 4: A Troubling Silence

The Timber Valley Residents had gathered around the fire set ablaze in the center of the village. Within the blaze the burnt remains of a werewolf had been placed. As the celebration continued on into the evening the last flames had died. Smoke
rose from the center and out over the village.

The moonlight sky marked yet another night the villagers had to endure. There was still one werewolf left, or was there?
The tiny village roads and side streets had now become fearful places for anyone to linger too long in case being caught off guard by a wolf. Since the seer was gone, there were only a few more villagers who could help rid the town.

The village homes had shut to keep everyone safe, and as the last few candle lights were blown out by various residents the streets became silent and lifeless. A howl was heard in the night, fear jumped in the hearts of the villagers who dared not look out the window incase of becoming a victim.

The Spellcaster awoke to the sound of the howling and began to prepare their silence spell for the next day. With the Spellcaster hard at work, the werewolves lurked the streets for a next victim. Since the celebrations had lasted so late into the night, there was not much time for anyone to act. A Loud Scream was heard from a residents home, but who's home was it that was invaded?






















The night had past and now everyone woke, tired, weary and curious to see who was the next victim of the Timber Valley Werewolves. Not one body was found, and everyone was accounted for. There was no murder last night. As the group assembled, Kenya began to speak, but something caught her voice. The Spellcaster has targetted Kenya.

Kenya, you must not talk for the full duration of the day. You may use actions such as *points at* *glares at* *smiles at* *shakes head towards* *nods to* *kicks dirt at* any physical action you can describe, but as far as speech goes, you cannot. The only time you may speak is during the Vote To Lynch Phase where you will only be allowed to say "Yes to Lynch" or "No to Lynch"


Brant has found his voice again, the spell has been lifted from him

Yeah...well, I just went and reviewed the roles to see how that was possible.

I'm guessing, either the Cursed was attacked, and has now converted...ooor, the tough guy was attacked, in which case, they will die soon.

Since I can finally talk again, I will.

This is going to be difficult if the werewolf is someone who hasn't been voting or is only voting if the lynch looks like a done deal regardless of their vote. There are a few candidates there, but how can you pinpoint anyone specifically?

What I find the most suspicious is how Cam/DogDude supported and encouraged the lynching of Pete the first round with little evidence yet defended Belasen last round with really strong evidence that he was a werewolf. Therefore, I'm going to nominate DogDude84.

I also believe that Admiral Momo is a werewolf. I nominate Momo as a new werewolf which makes sense as he was on the hit list # 1 after clearly identifying Belasen as a possble werewolf. I believe Momo had a role as "Cursed" and the werewolves targeted him without knowing he was "Cursed". Therefore, we got rid of 1 werewolf but added a new Werewolf as now the # of villagers has been reduced and the # of werewolves remained unchanged.

That makes a lot of sense, Termy. If it was Momo that was attacked, he's either the tough guy and is going to die anyway or a werewolf. So by lynching him, we don't lose anything.

I'll have to think about this some more.

I think anyone who either was against lynching Belasen OR voted yes to lynch after a majority was reached should be looked at closely.

I agree with that, Brant! I think the most suspicious are the ones who voted to lynch Pete but not Belasen. Mandie also did that.

Ugh, I just saw Termy and Brant post again as I was posting. That's definitely a good point, both of you. I was gonna second Cam's nomination, but now I am wondering if we should just try Mo anyway.

But what if the werewolves chose someone other than Mo to throw us off?

Wait, so Mo leads us in the elimination of a wolf and you suddenly all want to target him?????? Maybe he's the tough guy and was targetted but he was able to survive the first attack.

Yeah, Tiffani. I just noticed that everyone who didn't vote during the time period came back and posted what they would have voted, and three of them voted yes.

Do you guys think there is 1, 2, or 3 werewolves? 15 is a large group, so I wouldn't be surprised if Thian began the game with 3.

The thing is, Momo knew one way or another, he would eventually become a werewolf and take a job or a role of a werewolf that was mishandled by a dead wolf, Belasen. Therefore, lynch an obvious wolf, get rid of him, the remaining wolves would attack him so he can turn on us and kill us all.

Now that I think about it, we could always just wait and see who dies tonight because that will possibly reveal who the Tough Guy is anyway or if there's another werewolf around. If Momo's still around tomorrow and only one person dies tonight, then Momo (or whoever was attacked last night with Momo being the most obvious candidate) is likely a werewolf.

So I'm going to keep my nomination for DogDude84.

Brant, i would agree, BUT, if a tough guy dies then a tough guy dies..tonight, BUT, also another villager will die for nothing that same night while Momo still lives for another round as a wolf. I am certain that Momo is cursed as it makes no sense for the wolves to keep momo (as a villager) if he lynched one of their own. I'm sure the wolves are happy that they gained in #'s and us going back and forth between Dogdude and Momo as i'm certainly sure, momo is a wolf and dogdue is a big IF with no hard evidence. If Dogdude turned out to be a villager, we lose 2 villagers and wolves gained 1 wolf that same night.

BUT if he's the tough guy and going to die anyway, that means that one of us won't! AND he might be able to come up with another observation to help us get rid of another werewolf.

I will second the nomination for DogDude. I was thinking along similar lines to Brant about Dog's role in both of our lynchings. I also agree that if we wait a day we might have a better idea of whether the lack of a dead body was because the tough guy was attacked or the cursed.

Plus, Brant's silence gave him a chance to sit back and observe us all. I figure we can nominate DogDude and see how everyone feels. Maybe it's better we don't lynch anyone today?

wait, Termy, are you saying that if the Tough Guy dies, the wolves still get an attack? I thought i read that he'll survive the first attack but not one the second night, let me go back and read before i choose to second anyone.

I think they have to attack the tough guy again, and he still might not die.

I just woke up, wasn't being silent. Well, all I can say is, I certainly wasn't the tough guy, I'm not going to claim to be something to avoid suspicion. I don't know what happened but that's not me. And I was thinking along the same lines as Brant for this round, Cam or Amanda was going to be my suggestion. Amanda also voted not to lynch Pete but I figured that was to throw us off. But what Termy's saying makes a lot of sense and I won't be offended...however if I was the cursed wouldn't putting the wolves in danger make less sense as I basically assured I would so obviously be one of them next round?

Well, it seems I've been nominated, so I have to defend myself. By the way, I've been entertaining guests today, so I haven't been around to discuss this round's lynch. They're gone now though, yay.

If I were a werewolf (which I'm not), why would I go after the obvious target (Momo) last night? The only reason I was so adamant about Belasen not going was because, well, what can I say? I like the guy And I was really trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, since no one else was sticking up for him. It just so happens he was a werewolf, but how was I supposed to know? I can't give away my role, because we're not allowed to do that, but maybe I can give a hint? SHUSH! Hopefully that was a big enough clue lol. I really do have a harmless role, and I'm a villager. There is NO reason to kill me.

I really think someone is trying to frame me here, but I really don't know who because I totally suck at this game. I proved that during the last game where I basically lynched myself. I was the seer and found out who one of the werewolves was, but I didn't go about revealing that information the right way.

Anyway, long story short (too late!), I'm a townsperson. Killing me won't help with anything.

Was Momo targetted? And the answer to that would be, to shut up the person that nailed a wolf! Don't wolves usually target the obvious ones lol I mean, had your name been on the block by Momo yesterday, then yea, targetting him would've been foolish for you, but it wasn't, the wolves know he's smart so why not go after him. So DogDude has a role, and it's probably the silencer thingy, do we trust his word?

Momo was pretty obviously targeted since no one died, and he really made his presence known during the day phase. Knowing that I was already in hot water for disagreeing with everyone last round, the werewolf could easily pick off (or try to anyway) Momo, knowing the blame would not be on them, while they hide in the darkness. I'll say it again, as Jacijs pointed out, werewolves are quiet ones that go with the flow and lynch whoever's name is thrown out.

And yes you can trust me lol. I can't confirm that I'm the "silencer" (spellcaster), but... *taps nose*
