WEREWOLF 3 - Timber Valley Confirmation Sign In

Welcome to the village sign in's

Again I will breifly go over the rules.

-There are 2 teams. villagers and werewolves.
Werewolves are seeking to kill off all villagers
Villagers are seeking to lynch the werewolves amongst you.

-the day will consist of conversation between villagers on who you suspect is a werewolf amongst you all.
Once a villager suggests a person they will make it official by stating

I nominate ______

Someone else if they believe this to be true will second the nomination by stating.

I second the nomination.

Once a second nomination occurs - everyone will then vote on if they are to be lynched. a Majority vote will cause the player to be lynched and removed from the game.

If there is no second nomination made yet against anyone. you may change your nomination to someone else by going back to your original post, editing it with a line in it and posting a new post with your new choice or second nomination. Once someone is second nominated, no more changes can be made and it will go to a lynch vote.

Example:
Thian: I nominate David
David: I nominate Thian
susan: I nominate Laura
Thian: I second laura's nomination

Laura has now been officially nominated to the Lynch Vote


Lynch Vote:
no other person can be nominated while someone is being voted on. If majority rule yes to lynch that person is killed. If majority rule no, then a new round of nominations begin.

People voting will have the ability to change their votes BEFORE a majority is made.
If a majority has been reached before the vote change. It will not count. So be careful when casting your votes and nominations.

When changing your vote. Please find your original vote placed to lynch or not to lynch and cross it out by editing your post with a line and then posting a NEW post with your changed vote.

If the nominated person is saved by the village and no majority in favour of lynching is casted. a second nomination will occur. Please set up a second round of nominating on your own in the same manner.
If a third time the nominations fail. No one is lynched and the day will simply turn into night.

Please see an example of a simple nomination and lynching round.

Example:
Tina, Jim, Sarah, Louis and Tim
Tina's post: I nominate Tim
Jim's post: I second the nomination for Tim
Sarah: I vote to Lynch
Tim: I can't be the werewolf, i didn't go along with Jim's vote last day and he was the one pointing fingers and ganging up with Tina to kill me, Jim is the werewolf.
Jim: I vote to Lynch
Sarah: I vote NOT to Lynch, sorry Tim, i started to realize that Jim was really quick to be on board with Tina's first nomination. I think Jim is more likely to be a werewolf.
Tina: I vote to Lynch
Louis: I vote to Lynch

Tim would then be lynched and the day time round would be over. Notice how sarah changed her vote and went back to her original vote and crossed it out before the majority vote was casted.

Players nominated during the day rounds to be lynched should be given opporunity out of respect to hear them out before the voting process begins. If it is taking too long for them to respond to them being nominated then please feel free to begin the voting to be lynched or not to be lynched.

Once the day round is over. People who have been lynched and killed off. Please do not post any further in the game. you are invited to respectfully watch what is going on.

If you are seeing something that is aggravating to you and you feel the need to respond, it may end up killing the strategies placed by the werewolves in game, or if you see blatent lies and you are dead, please do not respond or share information between living players or dead players.

During the night rounds. certain roles will be called.
These roles will need to be diligent with their pvt messages and be checking frequently.

Once all night actions occur,
Day will begin and the village will find out who has been torn apart by the werewolves at night.

Again it is important if you are dead, or have died. Please do not say anything further.
If there are any questions, now is the time to ask away. I will be requesting that everyone who is playing, sign in and advise if they understand the rules.

I will also ask that when you sign in under this post that you keep all information given to you in private by me a secret.
Try to keep your conversations within this thread. Once the game is over Everyone will be allowed to discuss roles, strategies, frusterations and successes.

At
no point should players reveal their role to players in the game or
outside the game. The host should be the only one to be revealing roles
to players at the appropriate time.
It is okay to accuse other players of being particular roles or claim you are something when you are not, just do not reveal your own to outside non players or in pvt to anyone besides the host.

Mistakes
may occur during the game by players or by host. It will be my duty to
see to it that everyone has a fair shot that causes the least amount of
damage so that the games can continue

Please find below a list of roles and items in the game

Villager Team:

Villagers: Task - To Lynch Werewolves / Werewolf Sided villagers - Winning Condition - Eliminate all werewolf and werewolf sided villagers

Seer: Task - Each night phase, you are called upon to Investigate 1 villager of your choice. You will learn if they are werewolf or not. You win if the villagers win.

Lycan: Task - To Lynch Werewolves / Werewolf sided Villagers - Condition of role: You are a villager, however the Seer will see you as a werewolf. Winning condition: you win if the villagers win.

Spellcaster: Task - Each Night Phase you will be called to decide if you wish to silence someone for the next day phase. You do NOT have to silence anyone if you choose. The silenced player may use actions such as *Points at ____* *glares at* *Stares at* *throws chairs at so and so* and they may also vote. to lynch or not to lynch. However, speech is not allowed if you are silenced by the spellcaster.

Hunter: Task - When you are lynched, or if you are killed off at night. You will have one last chance to use your rifle / bow and arrow and kill of any player of your choice.

Tough Guy: Condition - If you are attacked at night, you will not die that night, however, you will die the following night. You win if the villagers win.

Witch: Task - Each night you will be called. You have 2 powers. To save the person who is attacked at night, or to kill a player of your choosing. You may only use each power 1 time during the game. You win if the villagers win

UNCERTAIN ROLE:
Drunk: Condition - You are the village drunk, you will not find out your role until the 3rd night. On the Third night phase you will recieve your role - Condition of winning dependent upon the side you are assigned to.

Cursed: You are a villager that is cursed, if you are lynched as a villager you will remain as a villager. The Seer sees you as a villager. If you are attacked by a werewolf at night, you will turn into a werewolf. EDIT: If you turn into a werewolf before the seer investigates you will be seen as a werewolf. Condition of winning dependent upon the side you have fallen onto.

WEREWOLVES Side:

Werewolves: Task - to stay alive during day phases, to kill off villagers during evening phases. You win, if you can get the village side down to equal that of the amount of werewolves. You are the only ones in this game who can pvt each other on AIM, MSN, PVT message. To have a successful kill. you BOTH must send me the same name of the person you wish to kill off. Otherwise it will fail.

Roles will be going out very shortly. Once you have recieved your role and read its conditions. Please confirm.

as always. This is a game with the honor system in place. If you are playing. do not discuss roles outside of this thread to anyone unless your role specifically says you can which should only be the werewolves this time. Do not discuss your role with non players either, as something may leak out and might get back to the rest of the players.

IF you have died, accept it and move on, do not post further there will be plenty of time in the reunion thread to vent your opinions. If you do break this rule, you may end up hurting stratagies in place by villagers and werewolves.

You will be sent pvt messages from me, the host, requiring action. PLEASE be diligent on checking pvt messages and responding as soon as possible. If players become inactive, I encourage you to seek them out or prod them to let them know a vote is required or there are questions that villagers are asking. If I do not see a response i will pvt msg as well. This is about the only outside communication that I will accept.

Some of you are new to the game, this is great, any questions you may have pvt message me and i will either address it privately OR publically if it is a general question that some others may have as well.

NOTE: ALL ROLES ARE HANDED OUT RANDOMLY BY CARDS, the order in which I handed out cards were from first to sign in to last to sign in on the sign up page. I have no control over the outcome of who gets what role. Role hand outs are not based on previous games anyone could be anything.


*sheepish grin* IF i do get your gender wrong during write ups, I really do apologize. I will correct it as soon as it is pointed out to me.

We will still be playing role reveal after each lynch / kill. MVP and VP awards will go out in the reunion thread so if you are killed of early keep checking back. Points as well will be given out too.
