I tried two new beers last night:

1. Great Lakes Burning River - nasty. The aftertaste is waaay too bitter for my liking, and even after two more beers, I could feel it lingering. Bleh.



2. Sam Adams Boston Lager - not as bad. Still an aftertaste, but I expect beers to have some sort of lingering thing. I probably would've enjoy it better if the Burning River weren't still attacking my mouth.

When I see someone ordering a Sam Adams I instinctively make a fist because history dictates we're gonna get into a fight. I'm just saying.

Usually Great Lakes beers are pretty good. Never tried Burning River though. Sounds sexy.

I've never had any of the other Great Lakes, so hopefully they're not too much like Burning River...sexy as it is, it leaves you feeling...dirty...and not in a good way...more like an "I just got an STD from that" way...

I've never had that experience. I usually feel that way after a Cobra or a Camo. Barf.

I've never even heard of those...which means I probably will never drink them.

I've only ever had Coronas during beer pong, I really can't get into beer at all. I guess it'll grow on me if I let it, but I don't desire to, lol.

I know some people who despise carbonation period, and I like soda a lot, so I'm halfway there, lol.

Yeah, I always enjoyed a beer or two, but it wasn't until intense beer pong competitions where I really got into it. Of course now, I drink whatever I feel like during beer pong (BTW whiskey shots are not a good idea for this, unless you want to make a complete ass of yourself), but the point is that it got me further into beer.

Yeah I know, me and my friends starting playing it with these better tasting half-alcohol/half-lemon and half-alcohol/half-berry things. It was so much more tolerable, but then I became....foolish, lol.
