Bel-Imperia, the escape artist Empty
PostSubject: Bel-Imperia, the escape artist   Bel-Imperia, the escape artist EmptyTue Jan 19, 2010 7:41 am

My hamster got out this morning. I woke up and was staring at the computer when I noticed something out of the corner of my eyes scurry across the floor. Surprisingly, I didn't really react aside from thinking to myself, "Fuck...well, if I just stand here, she's bound to come back out." (She'd gone under the bed).

But yeah, she managed to pop off one of the little sides of the cage where you put tubes and stuff. Cage fail.

I'm just glad she didn't go outside of my room, because she could TOTALLY fit under that door. I'll have to get one of those draft things for the door to make sure if she gets out again she can't escape the room Razz

Bahahaha, Hamtaro was my favourite show as a kid. I was like "I want a hamster who would break out of my room while I'm at school to go have fun with all his hamster friends at the clubhouse!!"

Ham-Hams Unite was for Gameboy Colour, and I don't remember that one as well. I didn't play this one during the summer... but basically, you had to travel around all these different areas and try to find all the hamsters to bring back to the clubhouse. It's harder than it sounds though. They have a special language called HamChat, and by doing little "side-quests" (well, kinda, lol), and talking to other hamsters, you learned new words. These words are needed to find the other hamsters. For example, if you finally find a hamster, but he's at the top of a tree, you need to yell for him to come down. But first you have to figure out what the HamChat word is for yell, in order to do that.

Essentially, Ham-Ham Heartbreak was the same. But there's this bad hamster (can't remember his name), but he was going around and making all the hamsters break up/fight. All of the clubhouse hamsters were mad at someone, and so were a bunch of random hamsters you meet during the game. You have this heart meter thing, which fills up as you get the hamsters back together (again, by learning words and blah blah blah). Once you fixed all the hearts and filled up the heart meter, you had to defeat the boss.

They were actually so much fun, hahaha. I love the show and the games Razz

Omg, Belle's life just flashed before my eyes. She was walking around my desk, and she likes to peek over the edge, so every time she does that, I put my hand up there, so she can either walk onto my hand (which I then put over the desk for her to return) or walk in the other direction.

Well just now, this exact scenario happened, and she began to walk on my hand but then decided she wasn't going to just sit on my hand until I put her back, and she jumped off of my hand and ALMOST landed into a melted candle sitting on a shelf under my desk. Holy. Shit.

That would've scarred me forever.

Needless to say, she's back in her cage.
