| Ok, either take off "Man On A Wire" or just add "Zombie Girl: The Movie" I can't believe I forgot that. I watch a lot of Documentaries. I'm actually watching one tomorrow about people mercilessly slaughtering dolphins and people trying to stop them. I'm excited about that. | |

| Okay, so I just finished watching The King of Kong, and it was really, really good. But here's the thing: in order to get to the total goodness of it, you have to endure a lot of infuriating bullshit. It's all totally worth it though. I was talking to Morris pretty much the entire time I was watching it; here are some of the conversation moments to illustrate what I mean:
miragad (5:31:56 AM): I hate nearly everyone in this movie.
miragad (5:43:25 AM): Yeah, I don't understand why all of these guys are sucking this guy's dick so hard
miragad (5:45:49 AM): Are you fucking kidding me? This guy is such a major DOUCHE miragad (5:47:30 AM): And he's just sitting there on his couch wearing that fucking awful American flag tie
miragad (5:47:40 AM): And he calls himself a Jedi??
miragad (5:48:59 AM): And they talk about the integrity of the game, and this and that, and blah blah blah... This is so fucking ridiculous
miragad (5:56:32 AM): I'm clearly not sleeping tonight
Mo: HAHA
Mo: clearly!
Mo: King Of Kong will keep you in a rage spiral of awake
miragad (5:57:38 AM): Exactly! That combined with the fact that my internet connection has drawn this experience out into nearly two hours (forty minutes longer than the actual run time of the movie) is just forcing me into a baby-punting rage.
miragad (6:01:12 AM): OMFG this movie is ridiculous. I can never play DK the same way again
miragad (6:03:06 AM): OMG WHAT. A. FUCK.
miragad (6:03:17 AM): I know. Thank god for this documentary. I hope when they saw it people just threw shit at them
miragad (6:03:30 AM): I HAAAATE HIM
miragad (6:07:02 AM): OMG I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I HATE HIM miragad (6:07:51 AM): FUCKFUCKFUCK
miragad (6:32:30 AM): God, he's an enormous cock
Mo: did the ending make you happy?
miragad (6:58:59 AM): YES
I wish this had all been on video.

| They give that sunnabitch all the rope and he hangs himself with it every step of the way.
I think my favorite part is when Billy goes to the competition and just doesn't play at all. Dick.

| Yeah, with his crazy-looking wife on his arm with her huge boobs hanging all out. He just struts in with his stupid-ass tie on...walks around like the social-moron he is, and just walks out. You could tell he was terrified. | |

| Another one down: Perfect Blue. Holy shit. This movie blew my mind a little bit. And the choppy internet connection actually worked to my benefit, because it always coincidentally stopped to re-buffer at a really cliff-hanger moment. But damn, this is really not what I expected. Mindfuck. It's one of those movies that's really well-written, well-executed, and overall well-done...and happens to be an anime. Which is really a shame, because there's such a stigma about watching anime which means such a good movie will be overlooked... But yeah. I liked this one a LOT, Mo. | |

| And another one (can you tell what I've been doing with my day?). Just finished watching Teeth, and wtf. That movie is just plain fucked up. Good, but fucked up. If you don't already know what it's about...well, good. I won't tell you, because I can only imagine the reaction if you have no idea going in. All three of the one's I've watched so far are on Netflix Instant, so if you've got it, check em out. All winners so far | |

| I'm glad you liked them all!!!
I picked up Perfect Blue on a whim one day during my hardcore anime phase, and I was so pleasantly surprised. I loved that movie. I watched it soooo many times. Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers are by the same director...they are VERY different movies though. I liked them both but not as much as Perfect Blue.
PRO TIP: Let The Right One In Primer La Jetee
I know are all on Netflix streeming.....You should go for La Jetee next because it's like a half hour long......have you ever seen 12 Monkeys? Because this movie is the inspiration for 12 Monkeys, it's awesome.

| I haven't seen 12 Monkeys. Should I? Maybe I will watch La Jetee tonight. After all, it'll only have to stream like...four times for a half hour movie *facepalm* | |

| You should if you like La Jetee, just to see what they did with it...that's really the reason why I like 12 Monkeys...not that it was bad for other reasons, but the reason why I really like it is because of that. La Jetee is one of the best art films I've ever seen. It somehow stirred a lot of emotion in me even with how short it was and told through still frame. | |

| I'm definitely watching Starship Troopers tonight. Turns out it's also on Netflix Instant. I'll probably watch La Jetee before too since I don't have to worry about it rebuffering every eight minutes... | |

| I found Primer last night, and I think I'll watch that tonight. To elaborate a little more on Starship Troopers (since I was tired and ready to hit the hay last night when I finished it), I thought it was awesome. I had to ask Morris when it was made, because I was all kinds of impressed thinking it was late eighties, early nineties. Luckily he said 1997, so I was still impressed. The effects were freakin sweet, and they totally hold up! Nothing looked especially dated, but I'm sure the overall mood of the movie probably contributed to that. Plus, I feel like futuristic space movies have a harder time showing their age if they're done well enough, because you generally don't have clothing or hairstyle cues to really go off of. In any case, this movie is awesome, and I'm upset it took me this long to see it! As I mentioned before, I'll probably buy it and watch it maaany times... | |
