| CHART HIGHLIGHTS: Don't You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia Ft. John Martin spends its third week at #1 this week.
You Are by Colton Dixon moves up 2 from 4 to 2 and is looking like it could fight off Swedish House Mafia Ft. John Martin for #1 within the next few weeks.
Better I Don't by Chris Janson enters the top 10 at #10
Six Degrees Of Separation by The Script soars 7 spots from #23 to #16
Next To Me by Emeli Sande moves 8 spots from #29 to #21, just missing out on the top 20 this week, though it'll most likely make it next week if things continue

| I got your message, thanks Pete! I would like to talk actually.. I could use a friend to talk to.. basically the jist of it is issues with Justin- (I haven't been happy for months now.. we have been together 3.5 years but since last september or so my feelings began to gradually fade because he would nitpick at everything I did and was so controlling even if he didn't mean to be.. but I don't wanna hurt him and he has such control over me I'm having trouble leaving the relationship.. I still really love him too but there is no spark or physical attraction anymore and we don't mesh well).. I told him about my feelings and we agreed to kinda take a bit of a break and see how things go.. but he isn't giving me any space! and to make matters more complicated I have very strong feelings for one of my best friends.. this was someone I had been talking to online on another website for five years, then we met in person about a month and a half ago and I fell hard for him the moment we met.. wasn't expecting it at all, but it happened. I had always thought he was gay but he recently mentioned he thought he was bi cuz he liked a girl at his work.. so I got my hopes up.. And since then we have hung out a few times and talked constantly and he admitted he liked me over im the day after my birthday, and said he really wanted to kiss me and we became wicked flirtatious and shared very deep convos and have TONS in common, and even got into a bit of x rated texting LMFAO.. we agreed we wanted to kiss next time we saw eachother and such.. then when we hung out last Monday everything was great.. we were flirtatious and he put his hand on my thigh and such.. but I was too nervous to bring up kissing him.. so when he asked "so what do you wanna do?" I blushed and hid behind my hair and told him I was too nervous to say it aloud.. and he said "awww don't be shy!" so then we went to Quincy market and I FINALLY got the courage up to say "Well.. I still wanted to kiss you.. but wasn't sure if you wanted to.." he said "To be honest, I don't want to do anything. I thought I could but the truth is I'm not attracted to girls sexually so please don't be hurt." I was so embarassed and started bawling my eyes out.. he apologized for leading me on and such.. I was wicked hurt because he had been texting me every night calling me babe and beautiful and such and telling me he wanted to make out with me and have sex with me some day etc etc.. then all of a sudden he says this.. I have lots of gay friends and love them to death so I have nothing against gay guys at all, but I was hurt that he led me on cuz I REALLY like him.. he felt wicked bad so he hugged me and said he was sorry and still wanted to be friends.... and I care about him too much to lose him, so I agreed... but I still REALLY like him.. I may even love him which sounds pathetic cuz we never even kissed or dated or anything, but I just can't get him out of my mind.. I dream about him almost every night. The chemistry between us was very strong and I feel SO connected to him.. AHHH. I keep worrying that he it's cuz I suddenly got ugly or something.. cuz I know he says he is gay, but I know for a fact he got hard after (OMG this is so embarassing, plz don't judge me!) seeing a pic of my boobs i sent him via skype.. he sent me a pic of his.. you know what.. to show me. So how could he fake that?!
okay sorry for my blabbing but had to get that out.. Pete and Michael, maybe some words of advice or comfort?
And I will do up my chart now.

| Really sorry to hear that you've had to go through that. It is never easy to break up with someone, especially when you've been together for a while. I've had two relationships that I ended after 3 months, and those were hard to end and so I cannot imagine being with someone 3.5 years and how hard that must be.
As for the guy that you fell for. Definitely sounds like he led you on and that really isn't cool. I know it seems like you love him now but trust me it'll fade, anytime you first meet someone and start to like them your feelings will always be that much stronger. Give it time and try and focus on getting those feelings out in some way, whether it is through writing, listening to music, etc. As for the pic, there are many possibilities there. Try not to dwell on it, unfortunately he is the only one who could really answer that question
and don't worry about the new songs list, that is just for reference, if it is eligible you may vote for it.

| CHART HIGHLIGHTS: This week Colton Dixon beats out Swedish House Mafia Ft. John Martin to hit #1 this week with You Are. It is looking as though #1 will be fought between those two for the next week or two as the only other song moving up in the top 5 is All Messed Up by Dave Stewart Ft. Martina McBride which is at #5 and is unlikely to get the support for #1 over those two
Other songs climbing in the top 10 include It's Time by Imagine Dragons at #6, Better I Don't by Chris Janson at #8, and My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark by Fall Out Boy at #9
Six Degrees Of Separation by The Script just misses the top 10 at #11
I Surrender by Angie Miller is the weeks highest debut at #30
Other debuts are: Suit and Tie by Justin Timberlake at #36 Living On The Outside by Small Town Pistols at #37 Just Give Me A Reason by P!nk at #40
I Thought You Knew by David Nail and Over You by Cassadee Pope are officially retired as of this week and can no longer be voted on

| Niki - I am sorry to hear that. I do believe he led you on, whether intentionally or not, just by knowing he was feeling confused about his attraction to women in general. It sounds like he is more curious than attracted, something I can speak to on a certain level. When I was in high school, I dated a girl that I really cared for, and even loved in my own way. We were "active", and it was never a problem for me. We broke up becasue I knew that I wasn't able to give her a fulfilling relationship because I'm gay, and I was definately letting her invest in our future in a way that I simply couldn't return fully. I don't think it has anything to do with you specifically, and honestly you're better off since I don't see a viable future coming from all of this confusion (from both sides). I don't think getting back with your ex is a particularly good option either unless you actually want to, although comfort is always less scary than striking out on your own. Bottom line: He is unsure of his feelings and won't be able to give you what you want at this point. Use this time to focus on yourself and in time you'll naturally find the right match. Attraction is easy. Love is hard. Give love time. | |

It really does suck.. we got in another huge fight today.. just when I thought maybe things could get better. And thanks.. I am gradually healing over the other guy.. I still really like him and want him but I have come to terms with the fact that I can't ever have him because he's gay. I know he didn't MEAN to lead me on and I'm not mad at him, but I'm still a bit hurt that he went as far as he did with some of the stuff he said to me.. also I keep worrying it's actually cuz he decided I was ugly all of a sudden or something cuz he seems to flirt with this other girl he knows, but she's a lesbian so yeah.. idk.. so confusing.

I would like to chat with you about this sometime.. maybe on facebook IM or something.. cuz I could really use some reassurance that this isn't my fault So it IS possible for a gay guy to legit become aroused by looking at a girl, and develop a legit crush on them, but just know deep down they want a man in the end? I have come to terms with the fact that we can never be together romantically.. I would like to understand what happened though.. just so I stop thinking I'm ugly or something.. I don't have the best self esteem (although it has gotten better), so I naturally assume I messed up somehow..
