Persons Unknown on NBC

Harper's Island = Good Until the finale, and sadly, the finale sucked so much that it ruined the whole mini series for me.

But I agree..it's basically an Ol' West Lost with a touch of Harper's Island in there, from what I've seen (which isn't much and I dont' rreally think I'll be seeing much more)

I groaned my way through another hour of PU. It's just the worst show I've watched lately.
#1 I would waterboard the "night manager" until the little runt talked.
#2 I'm sure the bees are PU's answer to the smoke monster. It's sizing them up and spying on them. It will appear as Cameron's dead wife and speaking of Cameron ( Ferris Bueller reference anybody? anybody?)
#3 why did he wait so long to smother Bill and why did he stop? And why didn't Bill just throw him off?
#4 I think Bill's secret is he is a closet masochist who voluntarily signed up to come to Lost Town to be mindf***ed.
#5 And when the trampy white girl was whoring it up out on the gazebo I was sure the muslim soldier was going to stone here then and there ~ I would have.
#6 Why would anyone in that situation trust they can get in a cab and leave. I mean this was just my second episode but these guys have been there for a few days. Why would the "watchers" lower the force field to allow the cabs in or out? If someone had you trapped in a cage, opened it suddenly and said run, you're free to leave. Would you trust your enslavers to keep their word? Apparently so if you're a Lost Town PU character.
#7 So one of the Losties is really an Other. I mean one of the Survivors is a Mole sent by Big Brother. Wait what was I watching. oh yeah PU

HAHAHA, you should probably stop watching!

Hahaha, anyway, I'm watching it, and I'm going to find EVERYTHING OUT!!

Hahaha, last episode suprised me, and I'm intrigued but will not say anything in case no one saw it but WHAAAAAAAAAAA, lol.

I just finally watched the first episode. I wasn't all that impressed until the last 5 seconds, that got me interested in the next episode.

I kinda liked the goings on in the town, it's all very "Twilight Zone" everywhere...right down to the dated suspense...but whatever the story is with the journalist in the 'real world' I have 0% interest in. I think the show would be stronger without any connection to the outside, just like the people on it.

Note to fans of Person Unknown: It has been moved to SATURDAYS at 8pm. The show is not doing well ratings-wise, but they are not going to cancel it... just moving nights. At least it is still on.

Hahaha, Mo, I don't think you're gonna like this show after a couple episodes, lol.

I'm enjoying it so far, but I don't really know how I feel about what they just did in the fifth episode.

I haven't watched anymore after the first episode. I still WANT to...but Len is really into watching Dexter right now and I want him to finish it before season 5 ads come out because it will assuredly spoil the big shit from season 4 for him immediately and I want to see him cry uncontrollably when it happens, so, yeah, need to get through that. But I will finish it, I swears!

I watched the 2nd episode, but that isn't really what you asked. I would catch up faster if I wasn't SO bored of that journalist...like...it makes it too difficult to watch the show with the threat of watching the 10 minutes where he will show up.

Hahahaha, just go make a sandwich or something when he shows up. I don't think he's that awful to watch, lol

Finally finished watching Season 4 of Dexter with Len. Now he is all caught up! So my next 'project' is for us to get caught up on Persons Unknown........we both kind of feel the same way about it though. It tries very hard...but I would pretty much rather watch anything else than a single scene with that reporter and it makes it really hard to want to watch an episode. I'm going to try though because all of you get so excited about it!

I can't wait to hear about how much you hate this show.

I want to like it, really, and the stuff in the town interest me. Not just from a mystery standpoint, but it's like a level of ridiculousness that I can enjoy. But the show really suffers from the conspiracy being solved from a different perspective.

If you, the audience, knew just as much as the people in the town, it would draw you in more, you'd be more interested. Like...imagine if on season 1 specifically of Lost you had a perspective from someone not on The Island. I feel like that would greatly take away from the mystery and enjoyment of what's going on on The Island.

Also, as I've mentioned before. I do not like his face.
