Persons Unknown on NBC

Okay, so the first episode premiered last week and the rating were bad. Well that is probably because it was never advertised (I only saw it advertised once). So I thought I would check it out. The first episode is online at NBC.com.

I AM HOOKED!!!!

It is a mystery series that runs throughout the summer... we won't know all of the answers until the very end. I found it very intense and intriguing, I cannot wait until the next episode airs! Check it out and perhaps even boost its ratings!! The first episode said it is available until July 1st so they must not stay on forever, but its still there for a little bit at least. I assume they will add more episodes as they air.

I watched the first two episodes today I really like it so far. I am also hooked. I think everyone should watch this so that we can all talk about it

I have them saved, Len and I watch all these terrible mystery shows until they are canceled after 5 episodes and then live a life unfulfilled...so I'm just waiting for him to return to start watching them.

Hahahaha, yeah, I'm really hoping this one doesn't suffer the same fate, but considering NBC has it on primetime Monday without pretty much any advertising...we'll see *shrug*

Yeah I still haven't "heard" of it beyond Cory

Another episode last night, and some more interesting stuff going down. I've already begun to form some theories on what's going down. I wonder if any of them will be correct

Yeah, I'm watching, and liking.

Hopefully they keep this one though, I mean, how couldn't they keep a show on the air that is about such an interesting little Happy Town

Happy Town tries so hard and fails at every turn...which actually makes it really entertaining to watch.

Holy shit...when they first said "Magic Man" I had to pause the show to laugh for the next 10 minutes.

Note to Persons Unknown fans: NBC has moved the show to Mondays at 8pm instead of 10pm.

No....never watch Happy Town. It is so awful, but it tries SO hard. I can't even enjoy it on the 'good because it's bad' level. I just watch it because I'm like...RETARDED.

I didn't watch "Happy Town", I figured it would be a second rate "Harper's Island" but without Harry Hamlin getting...ahem...whacked in the first episode (The only episode Mandie and I watched).

I just watched the last episode of "Persons Unknown." And I thought to myself :"Self, I mean Mr.Boyd, is this show trying to be "Lost II: Ghost Town"?
Now granted I didn't see the first two or so episodes but in the last episode: after witnessing the barrier wall underground, monitoring by several cameras, the idea of the signal fire, the helicopter, the package drop, the muslim soldier, the guy who acts like a con man, the store room, the lock down, the gas attack, and the orphan who was also a former mental institution inmate, I half expected to see a never-aging, smoke monster/spinal surgeon in a 70's jumpsuit pushing a button from a wheelchair.

I may or may not watch the next episode. The whole: "Islam showed me clarity" made me go: GROOAN!!!. And then the mental patient thinks learning Islam will help her! Good Grief! (What was she thinking before in the looney bin that makes Shariah Law, female genital mutilation, denial of rights of women and children, and the belief that in killing others you will be able to have sex with 72 virgins in heaven seem rational?)

Happy Town is like the worst show on television right now.

You guys have sparked my interest in at least checking out Persons Unknown. Will watch it tomorrow if I don't forget.

I'm getting so antsy to watch it. But I still have another week before I'm aloud to watch it or Pretty Little Liars.

Not all Muslims believe this, just like not all Christians believe the Genesis creation story. My guess, just from watching him, is that this soldier isn't a fundamentalist.

I haven't watched yet...but they also probably wouldn't portray fundamentalism in a positive light on American Television...so either this person will wind up being a 'bad guy' or something and actually believe all that...or they're trying to show the positive side of the religion by making the character not a terrible creature.

Yeah, I think it's probably the latter. It'll be interesting to see how they write it, since he's an American soldier who served in the Middle East and is also a Muslim. I'm eager to see what they do with it

The Nine, Six Degrees, Happy Town (which was horrible, yes, I didn't even watch it), all these shows I didn't REALLY watch because I didn't think they'd work out, but when I saw the dude from the Third Watch was on a new show, I was like, wellll, I'll try, cause the whole Big Brother aspect looked interesting, and I wanted to know why they were persons unknown. Why don't you know them, why are you watching them? AHHH

So yes, I will catch up, and we shall discuss....things.
