Silly Sister, texts aren't for Twitter updates

My silly ol' sister decided she wanted to follow me on Twitter via text message, which is a terrible idea, because anyone on here who follows me (which is like NO ONE ...fix thaaat) knows that I shamelessly tweet about as much as I shamelessly spam this forum.

So she texted me today saying "How do I stop getting updates from your Twitter on my phone. You keep waking me up..." LOL.

I shouldn't have told her, just to continue the torture

Oh, I'm SOOO one of those people. One of my friends stopped following me for a day, because she said there was just too much of me on her Twitter-feed. Honestly, that doesn't happen too often though. It was a special occasion: Doug Tweets Angsty Brand New Quotes Day.

Some people just can't handle it *shrug*

I have twitter, but I hardly read/use it. Because of the people that post 30 things in a row.

Because of people like Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls. Finally unfollow'd her the other day, the annoying bitch.

She decided that it was OK to have a full fledged discussion of Lady Gaga and postmodernism.

And not only that she like fucking RT'd every other dolt who used her made up hashtag. It was rpretty dumb.

I already have like 3 people who make consta updates, but I like it...sometimes. I used to have MuchMusic on there when I was trying out for their VJ contest and soon they were tweeting by the minute so I put a stop to that.

And I try to keep my tweets singular thoughts, even if I do tweet a lot. Like...I hate when people think it's appropriate to continue a thought over three tweets. Like...if you have so much to say in one go, get a fucking blog.
