Country Music

Alright so I am a HUGE country music fan, like obsessed lmao. So I was wondering, anyone else here a fan of country? if so who do you like?

For me, I like a lot but a few of my favorite are:

Lady Antebellum
Mark Wills
Tim McGraw
Faith Hill
Jo Dee Messina
Rascal Flatts
Reba McEntire
Patty Loveless
Pam Tillis
Josh Turner
Lee Ann Womack

Ohh, I like this thread! I don't listen to a lot of country (almost none), so I'm curious as to what other people like.

I kind of like all kinds of music (except extreme rap), so I'll listen to country sometimes. I'm not like an enthusiast, but I know like Taylor Swift and Shania Twain and Faith Hill I just usually listen to today's music on the radio.

I recently downloaded Tim McGraw's most recent album (2009), and I really like it. However, I heard a song on the radio that was also him (someone said it was his first hit), and daaamn has he calmed down on the whole country thing. His newer album is way more everyone friendly than his older stuff.

What else did I get. I thought about getting Lady Antebellum. I suppose you'd support that decision, lol. I got Darius Rucker, but I've heard he's barely considered country; Brad Paisley and Big & Rich because I recognized the name and someone had em; and then Richmond Fontaine...I have no idea how I ended up with that, but I have it *shrug*

Tim McGraw definitely got rid of the twang in his voice. I love his older stuff but sometimes the twang is hard to listen to lol. I have all of his albums except his newest one, I gotta get it though

I have Darius Rucker's first CD (Not sure his second one is out yet or not) have barely listened to it though, not crazy about him but he has some good songs. His song Alright annoys me though

Brad Paisley is hit or miss with me and I do like Big and Rich, their song Holy Water is one of my absolute favorite songs

You are incorrect! I am a HUGE country fan. Seriously it's pretty much all I listen to on the radio, and on XM online (subscription based). I LOVE Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney and pretty much every other star, those are just my two favs. Finally, someone to share my love with!

I reaaaaally wish I could go to one of Garth's concerts in Vegas, but the tickets are just so expensive plus they sell out so freakin fast.

How can you NOT love that?! Plus their music is amazing.

I have almost all of Garth Brooks' CD's (both box sets) Plus his most recent Ultimate Hits collection with More Than A Memory and others. I like him a lot (plus he did a somewhat duet with Martina McBride which is AWESOME lol)

The thing with Kenny Chesney, I do like him but some of his songs I don't like at all (like every song he's released recently from Out Last Night to I'm Alive, I just don't care for the sound of them) Hope he releases more songs like Don't Blink, Who You'd Be Today, Summertime, etc and less of songs like Keg In The Closet and those two I already mentioned.
