ORG Planet's Weekly Music Chart 2012

I have the Year-End chart done. Very interesting on who got the #1 song of the year, only got 2 points more than the #2 song, so it was close.

There were a total of 199 different songs that received votes all year long. I am not going to post a list from then on, as I feel that would take WAY too long to post on here. However it will eventually be available on the Google Docs when I get the chance to update that file. On here I am going to post the top 100. Starting with the first 20 songs:

Any ideas on what songs could be in the running for #1? I will say that the song I thought was gonna be #1 ended up being #2 though at the same time I knew the song that is #1 was gonna be pretty close. I think it is interesting how it played out

So updated schedule to how things are gonna go this week and next.

Each day I am going to post the next 20 spots of the Year-End until we are down to 20 (Wednesday 100-81, Thursday 80-61, Friday 60-41, Saturday 40-21). At that time I am going to post only the next 10 for two days (Sunday 20-11, Monday 10-1).

Then Tuesday I am going to post the Awards. First round voting will go until Saturday. This round there is not a whole lot to actually vote on. It is basically to decide final nominees. Saturday through the following Saturday will be the final voting where I will post the winners.

Then the first Chart voting of 2013 will start on January 6th, with the first chart posted on January 13th. The new chart will have it's own topic to keep things a little more organized, where I will also explain more on how the charts are gonna work. I can do the voting a week earlier if people want and post the first chart on January 6th, let me know if you'd like to vote by then (I can get the eligible songs list posted sooner and just do it then, whichever works find).

One thing I will say about the ENTIRE top 15, each song received votes from more than one person. Six of them received votes from only 2 people and one of those 6 is the #1 song of the year. Any ideas?

The top song will be either better than i know myself, we are young, somebody that I used to know or home.

Niki, this is what I will say to you regarding those four songs, three of them are in the top 5, you'll know which one isn't in a few minutes but there are two songs in the top 5 I don't think anyone has even considered to be in the running. What is #1 I'm not gonna say yet.

It also spent a total of 19 Weeks on our chart starting from the May 27th chart and ending on the October 7th chart. This song debuted at #1, which incidentally was its only week at #1 but the song stayed strong throughout it's run.

Up next at #9 - a song that spent multiple weeks at #1 but struggled its first few weeks to get any votes

The next song, #8 - everyone remembers this song, quite catchy, and was heard EVERYWHERE!
