Sylvia is so embarrassing.

I took her shopping today, and she encountered her first midget. And she asked him why he was such a little man. It was so humiliating, but so hilarious. I was trying so hard to not laugh and make things worse.

But I guess all kids do things like that. When I was four, I asked a man why he looked like Quasimoto. And when my brother was three, he asked a cashier why our family was the only white family in the store (they were shopping in the city, in a very multiracial area).

Oh kids...

I'm sure we've all had our social faux pas. Gotta learn somehow

Even if our parents say "they all fell into chocolate pudding" or something extremely racist to not have to explain.

I still ask midgets that.

When I will little, just figuring out the differences between boys and girls, my mom said i would study someone trying to figure out if they had a penis or not. LOL! She said she had to keep an eye on me in fear that I would go up to my pastor and ask him if he had one.
