I'm back at my parents house, again. This is the second time in a week, and I'm sure it'll be more after this. The first time was because of Fourth of July. Understandable. This time it's because I have a dentist appointment. Also understandable.
What will suck is if I have to come here more often toward the end of the semester, because my job doesn't look like it's going to give me many hours. I'm not sure though. We'll see.
I just checked my schedule for the next two weeks (including this one), and I got no evening shifts, which are the regular shifts. None. I dunno if I ever bitched about this, but my boss essentially punished me with an "alternate" position that means I don't get hours until everyone else gets their fill. All for not coming into work one day during the semester.
Anyway, they left me no shifts. The upside is that my boss is letting me come in during the day for four hour chunks at a time doing shitty stuff like replacing thousands of Emergency stickers in the dorms...ughh... It's something like a potential 20 hours a week, so it's not bad...
I'm not really sure what the point of this post was other than to say that I'm at my parents' again.
And I'm not a huge fan *shrug*
