Yeah, I'm watching it, too. I saw the low-quality stream of the first hour that was leaked on Saturday night, but it's so much better when you can actually see and hear everything.
One of the best premieres since the pilot, though, I'd say for sure. And it's only halfway!

I absolutely loved this premiere and agree one of the best premieres ever for this show. Though there were some moments that annoyed me, smoke monster, OMG

Just got the season premiere this evening down here in Australia, and OMG OMG OMG. Finally they (kind of) reveal what smokey is! And Terry O Quinn in bad ass mode! I don't know exactly how the "flash-sideways" is going to contribute to the story, perhaps just a way to say regardless of how the future changes, fate will make sure whatever happens, happens?
OK so I have the basics of Lost down, I've watched some episodes but I wouldn't call myself a crazy Losthead or something like that. But I watched the Seasons 1-5 recap, then started watching Season 6 and Claire just came out of East jeBumFuck and I loved it.
Also...is black smoke monster the dude who was on the beach with Jacob?
And the flash-sideways thing doesn't make sense. It basically upholds the parallel universe theory?
I don't want this show to end but I want to know what the hell is going on and then I start thinking of how every question that gets answered and every episode is just another step closer to the end of it and then I start freaking out but then I want more and then I die.

Yeah, the smoke monster is that guy, who is also now posing as John Locke. I have been thinking he's also the reason why people see people on the island who aren't really there, like when Jack kept seeing his dad and Shannon kept seeing/hearing Walt.

In fact, when they showed the behind close-up of her when Jin got trapped, I thought it was Russeau for a sec. But then I saw whacked out Claire and was like yay!
She must have cranked to chop that guy about 4 times. And Jin kept going WAIT! And then she actually chopped him and I was like gross.

I'm sad about Claire, I feel like they ruined her character, however I feel it is really awesome at the same time. I just hope they can save her somehow

There's must be something seriously wrong with her. Back in Season 4, she wanders off probably chasing butterflies, leaving Aaron alone. What do you think Kate is going to do? Leave him to die??
Instead of being slightly appreciative of taking care of him (although granted being away from your own child for 3 years), she's like.. "if I see her, I', gonna chop her good.. and get a good feed out of it"
I don't trust that she's "crazy", just deluded. Given that so much has happened to her. I mean, the Others aren't exactly very helpful when it comes to the information department. Our dear friend Smokey seems to be giving more answers the questions!
Well it seems like the Claire storyline might finally answer the whole 'disease' storyline, so I'm very, very excited about that. That was one of those things that just felt dropped.
