Shadowbrooke Diary Monday April 26th, 1843
As the day carried on the villagers stood in a circle. One in this group surely was a werewolf that
was for sure. Everyone knew it as their
fellow villagers had been lynched day after day and slaughtered night after
night. The killer was tricky, that was
for sure, and it wouldn’t be any easier as the demise of the village could lie
in the very hands of the up coming lynch.
Gathered together once more it was time to begin the
nominations. Caligula cast his eyes over
the group for a brief moment as they came to rest upon Pete.
“I am going to nominate Pete as a werewolf. I think it is a shot in the dark, but I think
you’ve been one of the more low-key, and therefore, I gotta hope that’s because
you’re hiding your fangs.” His voice trailed off as his nomination was put
forth.
Khufu was next in line as he spoke in dismay and outrage “Villagers
are fucked!” His hand clenched furiously as his finger motioned towards Bryan. “I
nominate Bryan!” His voice shook in anger.
Pete upon hearing the rage of Bryan began to shed a tear it
was that moment his thoughts went to vastfanatic as she had become prey the
following night. “I second the
nomination for Bryan” his throat tensed
as his voice trembled “Vast”.
With the second nomination for Bryan falling upon the
village, Bryan’s mouth dropped he could only hope his arguments would save him
from falling victim to another lynch.
Frantically the words escaped his lips before anyone could jump towards
him “I’m just a villager, I feel like this werewolf is not around much, it
seems as though the victims are killed just before dawn. I’ve been checking around the clock in the
village to ensure everyone had been accounted for. Besides the first day when my vote has not
counted, I’ve been present at least to weed out the culprit”.
The voting process began as Pete was the first to
speak. I honestly have a feeling that
Bryan isn’t a werewolf and that Caligula and Khufu are werewolves and nominated
the two of us to keep us from nominating them.”
In a dismissive voice he continued to speak. “With that said, I will vote not to lynch
Bryan”
It only took two votes for the majority as the next villager
spoke. “I think Pete is acting funny
now, I vote not to lynch Bryan.” With
confidence behind his words Caligula’s vote was decisive and allowed Bryan to
step back into the group. Caligula
continued to speak “I believe that is a majority with me and Pete being adversed
to the lynching of Bryan” His fingers drew to his lips as he looked at the
group once more. “I would like to
nominate Pete for lynching.
Khufu came to the side of Caligula and pushed Pete out into
a clearing. “I second the nomination”. With the second nomination underway and Khufu
confirming the guilt of Pete he shouted “LYNCH!”
“Well, I think this probably proves my point, so I think the
werewolves have over taken this village sadly.” Pete’s words were spoken as he
tried to rally confidence in the others.
“I’m just a villager, i swear to you that Bryan” His pleading eyes seemed defeated as he
continued “but I don’t think there is anything we can do now at this point.”
Bryan approached Pete and rested his hand on the accused
shoulder. “Well I am pretty sure there
is only one werewolf.” He turned to the
group. “I am just wary to vote lynch
because if we are wrong, someone dies at night, and then the werewolf will win
against the last person alive.” He
patted Pete’s shoulder reassuringly. “I
vote not to lynch Pete because he thinks there are two werewolves”.
The pressure fell upon Caligula as he stood torn between
agreeing with Khufu or Bryan. “I really
have no clue to be honest” His hands ran
through his hair. “We’re all going to
say we’re villagers so I am not expecting any knaves to say they are knaves.” He began to pace back and forth as his mind
came to a decision he stopped and looked towards Pete. “I vote to lynch Pete and go with my gut
feeling. I almost think you are not a
werewolf to be honest”. He nodded as the
group approached Pete. “When your gut is
wrong once you have to go against your instinct. That is what my gut is telling me to do, if
that makes sense, I am sorry Pete, it
has to be this way”.
The group surrounded Pete as a cry was heard coming from the
victims throat and then silence. The
group separated only to find that they had just lynched. . . . .
Another villager. Eyes
darted back and forth between the three left.
Caligula, Khufu and Bryan now stood together in the village square over
Pete’s body. Disgusted by the outcome
Caligula, Khufu and Bryan began to panic, fear set in as Caligula’s legs
trembled.
ITS TOO LATE TO LYNCH ANOTHER NIGHT TIME IS HERE. Khufu darted away into the night leaving
Caligula face to face with Bryan, as the moon rose Bryan began to transform
into the evil that lurked the cobbled streets of the village. “Please....don’t Bryan, spare me, let me live
and take the village!!!” Bryan’s smile
turned into white fangs that hungered for the taste of flesh without hesitation
Bryan lunged towards Caligula tearing him apart limb from limb.
Khufu had left Caligula behind in the village square running
for his life and now hiding in his home.
The day would approach and Khufu would no longer be alive as Bryan made
his way through the village picking up the scent of his last victim upon day
break.
Well, this has been a blast to host everyone. Thank you so much for your patience,
understanding and commitment to the game.
To those people who were killed early on in the game thank you for not
giving anything away to the people still left.
Unfortunately this time the werewolves have won.
