Anywaaay, speaking of Skype, who has a camera and Skype? I clearly just got mine, so I'm all kinds of eager to talk to people I think it's super cool since a lot of us are far away and can't easily meet each other.

I dont use Skype much anymore. In fact the only time i used it was to record my podcast.

I love Skype! Video calling FTW! I know some people who use it to just IM, but I prefer MSN/AIM for that. Buuut, you download Skype, add people, then just click Video Call (Or just Call, if you don't want your webcam on and just want audio), and then you just... talk, hahaha.

I love it. My cousin is in Korea, and instead of spending money on expensive phone calls, our whole family just Skypes her! You can even pay a fee each month and use it as a phone (you can call landlines, you can have voicemail, etc. etc. etc.)

But yes. It's video chat. And I love it.

That sounds pretty fun, maybe I will actually download that. I've had ventrillo for years, you know, because of WoW...so I never got into Skype...but the video chat makes it a lot more appealing.

Alright, alright... I have Skype too! Hahaha.

That would be cool. When I used to use Skype I had headphones and a Mic.... What do I need now? I've only used my webcam once to take pics... that i posted here.... (the webcam on my laptop).... I've never used a webcam lmao I havent had my laptop yet but for about 7 months or so. I only use my laptop to chat on MSN/AIM/Yahoo, play on ORGPlanet and play on facebook. Mandie, my guess is that if you've got a camera built into the laptop, it'll have a microphone built in too. No guarantee, so hang on to the headset if you've got it. I wouldn't be able to offer a whole lot of advice though, because I needed Jess' help to get my mic working when we first chatted.
