| What're you taking this semester?? Spanish 4: Not excited about it, but it's gotta happen. Hopefully my professor isn't as completely moronic as the last one. Piano: So. Excited. I hope I actually learn a lot; after all, learning a new instrument is on my Bucket List Literature for Young Adults: I joined this class, because I thought we were reading Twilight, and I wanted to write a feminist paper TRASHING it...but I heard we're not. The upside: I also heard that we were reading Harry Potter. Modern Science Fiction: I have no idea what to expect from this class, but it's a big deal, so hopefully it's not too difficult. Short Story: Should be good, I suppose. Probably pretty predictable. WHAT ABOUT YOU? | |

| Sociology of Crime: We get 50% of our mark based on our analysis of various CSI episodes
Social Inequality: Full year course. I'm so over it.
Values and Society: Philosophy course. NO idea what to expect from it. I'm only taking it because there's nothing else available
Sociological Research Methods: Ugh.

| Spanish 1: Pretty excited about it, akshully. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school but my teacher was a doof and really didn't teach us much xD I'm excited to learn at a faster "college" pace so it will make me really learn it lmao
7 Ideas That Shook The Universe: Taking it again with a new prof because I got a D in it and that is ridic because its the easiest class evar.
College Writing 2: Meh. Only good I can see going in is that my prof's name is Geoffrey T. Moses. LOVE. IT.
Quantitative Methods of Psychology 1: I have no clue what this class is even about. -shrug-
ANNNDDDDDDDD
Vampires in Film and TV: SO. FREAKING. EXCITED. There are only 10 people in my class and it's an upper division course so I'm hoping its not just a bunch of Twilight retards.

| Psychopathology-Become best friends with my DSM-IV-TR Mental Health Policy-I hate that this class is on a Friday, students should not have five day weeks! Human Behavior II-really just sociology concepts that I already learned in undergrad Practice-we practice social worky stuff. Field-16 hours a week in an elementary/middle school, I counsel students and do a bunch of random other stuff | |

| Essentials Organic Chem lecture 120 This is the follow up to the class I got a D in. I...shouldn't get a D this time? That would be great. Essentials Of Organic Chem lab 120 This is the lab that goes along with the lecture, so it is only worth 1.5 credits while the other classes are worth 2. I am hoping that this class remains as carefree as the last one, though I will have a different lab instructor so who knows. Intro To Economics 100 I decided that I would join 1 extra class. I chose 2 classes that I wasn't really sure about to be my classes to make me a full-time student. I really am not sure if that was a good idea, but my plan is to hopefully somehow manage both, but if that's too much and I detect that early on, this is one of the classes getting the drop. I am thinking this will be the dropped class cause economics is notoriously hard. Expository Writing 120 My first college writing class. What the hell to expect? I have no clue, but I think I will actually enjoy myself. I should know if it is creative, or not, but I don't lol. If it's not, I'll be sadder, cause that'll be more difficult for me actually, but I guess we will see. Human Development 150 Psychology class. I am excited for this, and did great my last one. Yay to this class. The relief of the whole damn thing. Conquer and Resist 100 This is like a Puerto Rican studies class. Another of the "possible drops" with eco. Idk what to expect, guess we'll see! | |

| So today was alright: Modern Science Fiction: today all we did was talk about what we knew and thought about Science Fiction. We were instructed that the term "sci-fi" is frowned upon by the Science Fiction "fandom." I rolled my eyes a lot. But the dynamic of the class is kinda funny. There are three kinds of people: the people who are only there because they had to take a senior seminar (these are generally chicks who haven't even seen Star Wars; none of these are guys); the people who enjoy certain sci-fi movies, books, comics, etc., and have a general respect for the genre as a genre. And then there are the hardcore kids who are going to piss me off all semester long. They're the ones who ONLY read/watch sci-fi stuff; the ones who (literally) went outside and immediately began talking about and comparing all of the various sci-fi/fantasy things they've read/played and stuff like that...it was ridiculous. I'll make sure to keep quotes to really help you to understand. One of them was wearing a cloak and a tie-dye dragon shirt if that helps. Literature for Young Adults: this class seems like it'll be enjoyable. To my dismay, we are not reading Twilight (no feminist papers this semester... ) and we are not reading any Harry Potter. However, we do have some books that sound pretty good. We have two graphic novels (Persepolis, of course, and something about an American-born Chinese kid). The class is packed though; it's kind of strange. I guess the class is popular, because the professor is apparently teaching an entire lecture course on adolescent literature with a focus on Harry Potter. Basically she's teaching an entire course on Harry Potter, lol. Short Story: holy moley, this class was boring today... And I have to buy another Norton Anthology. I hate buying those. You read like...three things from it after dropping like, $60. Such a fucking waste. | |

| I've bought so many of those in my lifetime...it's pretty gross. I think...I've probably bought two of the large ones, a set of three smaller ones, and now I've go to buy one singular small one.
That's gotta be like... actually, I don't even wanna know how much that woulda cost.

| omgahhhh Norton Anthology lol. Thickest freakin thing ever. And the sci-fi geek kids in your class sound like the guys I played DnD with my senior year in college. Except nobody wore cloaks or dragon shirts. We didn't really like to advertise that we loved to be dorks. | |

| OMG my freaking "Quantitative Methods of Psych" class is THE most boring class I've ever had to sit through. Today we seriously learned how to make bar graphs. And line graphs. With steps. Like "Step One: Make the x-axis. Step Two: Make the y-axis. Step Three: Label the axes. Step Four: Shoot Jessie in the face."
