| Pete - I'm glad there's someone else from New England that knows what I'm talking about.
Doug - Bertucci's is like...Applebee's but not. That makes no sense. It's a franchise on the east coast at least and it's an Italian restaurant - pizza pasta salad etc. It's classy looking but you can go in jeans. And they have italian flair on the walls, aka old pictures of italian immigrants and those long wooden pizza boards that they use to make the pizzas...they actually cook all the pizza in this huge brick oven that you can watch them make it.
But...the best thing they have to offer over anything else is the rolls. They are served hot, and they give you olive oil with little things of crushed red pepper and this spice/herb that looks like evergreen tree (trust me it's just a normal spice)...so good. AND THE ROLLS ARE FREE AND I BASICALLY ONLY EAT AT PLACES WITH FREE BREAD.

I guess you could probably get away with wearing jeans, but whatevs. The bread and herbs are AMAZING there too!

| It's like Carrabba's probably a little bit cheaper though. And no one singing Happy Birthday to you in Italian. Bertucci's doesn't front. | |

| I worked at a Bertucci's in DC for a couple of years in college and yes the bread and flavored oil is AMAZING!!! People would come in to buy just the bread, like bags and bags of rolls. The dough is made fresh every day and they cook it in batches and its so good when its warm and hot. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I also love their pizza. My favorite is the Carmine, which has carmelized onions on top. So good. | |

Did Waterloo become a state all of a sudden? You didn't know we had "canadian bacon"? Geez, Jess. Disappointed.
