Gonna be a new show on Fox. I'm excited. Some of you may know why.
(Not sure why it's not the full preview...maybe it said in the video, who knows...)
"In the tradition of "Malcolm in the Middle" and "The Bernie Mac Show," SONS OF TUCSON is a family comedy about three brothers who hire a charming, wayward schemer to stand in as their father when their real one goes to prison. What begins as a business relationship evolves into something more complex and compelling: a family unlike any we've ever seen.
The three brothers find their dad-for-hire, RON SNUFFKIN (Tyler Labine), working at the local sporting goods store. Ron, a lovable slacker who can't catch a break, is forced to draw from an array of skills and dig into a vast bag of tricks as he steps into the role of patriarch to the boys of the Gunderson family. ROBBY GUNDERSON (Benjamin Stockham), 8, is a loose cannon who doesn't respond well to authority; GARY GUNDERSON (Frank Dolce), 11, is a bright and street-savvy leader who is every bit the con man that his father is; and BRANDON GUNDERSON (Matthew Levy), 13, is a gentle free spirit who goes along for the ride.
While SONS OF TUCSON is grounded in the day-to-day challenges of a single-parent home, nothing in the Gunderson household is quite what it seems. An ongoing chess match between Ron and the boys keeps both parties on their toes, as neither side can afford to give up too much power or independence."

I've never seen anything with Tyler Labine, but just this trailer makes me love him! lmao, he reminds me of a mix of ShayCarl and Jack Black XD Or something along those lines.

I was all about it but then you said "The Bernie Mac Show" and now I'm done.

I didn't say that. That's a description from Fox's website. I hate the Bernie Mac show. In fact, I'll bet it's nothing like either show. It has something neither has: Tyyyler... *faints*

Well I guess we'll see, but the point is that is NOT a good endorsement.

I don't think you're understanding me, sir:
Chances are I'll watch it, even if it's the worst show on television.

HAHAHAHAHA, hopefully it won't be, so that it'll be on for years....although Two And A Half Men has been so that might not matter.

Watching the pilot episode now. Just got to the first commercial break.
Impression: the kids annoy me. We'll see. Tyler Labine is the same character as every other thing he's done...which is perfect.
Also:
"Alright boys, let's play house."
What's up??

"You won't even know I'm here. I mean, I snore a bit, but if that happens, just chuck a shoe at my head or something... then again, that might trigger the night rages..."
Anyway, the show's not gonna be great, especially because the middle son is reeeealllllyyyy annoying and the youngest is over-written. The oldest is alright, but clearly hasn't been given much attention. And if they do some kinda thing where he has like a coming out experience (they've already hinted at him being a flamer), I'm out.
But Tyler Labine is hysterical always. So therefor, I will continue to watch.

The oldest one is very obviously going to be gay. I only say that because everyone I know who watched the show said that...so they certainly intend it.
The middle son is the worst. The youngest is the only thing that made me laugh, when he just tried to get out of the car. I still find that amusing just because as a kid, how many times was that your solution. SO MANY!
That and when the grandmother raped a guy. Overall I thought it was terrible, I won't be going back for more, and unfortunately for your sweet Tyler, it looks like that is the general consensus.

If it weren't Tyler Labine, I would be right there with ya...but as long as he's in it, I'll watch. My obsession is so unhealthy.

Oh no, I get it. I have started watching and continued to watch (whether good or bad) more shows than I can count because of the same thing.
Did you ever see Invasion? Because that was the first place I ever really remember seeing Tyler Labine, I hated him more than anything at the time. But then he was in Reaper and I liked him a lot. I mean obviously he acted exactly the same in both situations, I guess his character just somehow wasn't as horrible in Reaper, he was like one of the best parts of Reaper.

I remember when Invasion came on and I was introduced to the wonderfully beautiful creature that is Tyler Labine...except I didn't know who he was at the time, and the show didn't really make me want to watch. I just kinda caught him, and was like, "Holy shit, that guy is gorgeous." even back in the day.
Then I completely forgot the name of the show and I never knew his name. So I was kinda lost for awhile...then I saw the CW PSA for global warming where it's just him "naked" behind a newspaper, and I was like, "THAT'S HIM FROM THAT SHOW!"
I almost bought Invasion the other day, simply because he was in it, but then I realized I was being irrational, and I decided I'll Netflix it.

Also, I just noticed that the sons are different in the show than they are in the publicity shot above in this thread.
Except the stupid middle one.

They're different in the preview too!
They had to reshoot everything with the sons! And I liked the old older one better. He seemed dumb and funny, instead of boring and gay.

Hahaha, this show was already cancelled. What I don't get though, and Mo, you can probably explain this, is if they shot 13 episodes of it, why not just run it? Will they lose enough money to justify pulling it and running something that isn't new? I just learned the term "burning off," so I guess they'll air them eventually...?
Someone was just talking about this with me the other day. How Fox pulls stuff so quickly. True or false?

Fox is notorious for canceling shows within 5 episodes. The thing is, if they can justify airing old episodes of like Glee or something and getting more ratings than the new show, they will do that instead as, yes, it will get them more money. They also rarely air the canceled show's unaired episodes, but if they think they'll get money out of DVD sales they will put them on there, of course.
