| I certainly liked Precious a LOT more...and plenty of other movies this year more, including the other movie I saw today "The Road" (which, if you've read the book, it's exactly the same so it was super not disappointing and I liked it, especially the way they tweaked the ending), but "Up In The Air" was still a fantastic movie. I wouldn't be upset if it won Best Picture like everyone is saying it will right now. There are others I feel deserve it more, but the movie was really great, there was nothing bad about it at all. I would recommend people see it if you haven't already. And if you have, care to share thoughts? For a movie about George Clooney's character I really felt the best parts of the movie was his two supporting females, Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick, they were both really great characters and did some good acting as well. - Spoiler:
I absolutely figured that Alex was going to wind up being married because it just didn't seem like the kind of movie that was going to end up with the message "He found love and settled down and lived happily ever after!" and I think it was much more powerful of a movie leaving you with pretty much EXACTLY what the tag line of the movie is. He may not have found a reason to settle down yet, but he is now open to that, he's ready to make a connection.
