PoV 5 - Amazing Race

LEG 1

I'm starting my climb up the mountain. It looks to be a long a treacherous journey.

The backpack I'm wearing is pretty heavy, but it has all of my essential gear.

So far the hike is not that bad, but I can see that the trail ahead gets steeper and steeper.

My boots are starting to hurt my feet. I'm probably getting blisters.

I see a stream up ahead where I can refill my water. I have to make sure I stay hydrated.

My boots got wet in the stream Now I have to finish the hike with wet, soggy boots.

Rattlesnake!! Good thing I brough a machete. It lunges at me but I quickly decapitate it. I keep the rattle to give to a baby later.

The other houseguests sure are complaining a lot about the hike, but I'm still going strong.

I have to move fast so I can get to the top first. Eyes on the prize!

I'm over halfway there, this is a good workout!

I'm singing random songs in my head to distract myself from the pain of the climb.

I slipped and rolled my ankle, but it didn't get injured because of my sturdy boots.

Hmm, my hat flew off a while ago but I didn't notice. I'd better put on sunscreen on my face to protect me.

I'm sweating profusely, but the fresh air is really nice.

I met a billy goat. But it kicked me in the stomach. I barfed.

The end is in sight, I can't wait to get there!

I'm racing toward the top now, as fast as I can!
