So if you open the last.fm thing on your desktop (the thing that shows you what song is playing, gives you some info about them, etc.) the very bottom of the window says "Top listeners on last.fm" and then lists like five people. Well, I got curious about how many hits someone would have to have to be top 5, so I clicked on all five of blink-182's "top listeners." Three of them were huge, like tens of thousands of plays. But the other two were only 1K + a hundred or so. I was surprised, because my blink-182 playcount was higher than there's.
Does anyone know how the "top listeners" thing works? Is it just fucked?
