Ugh, I'm still up studying...why do these exams have to be on the same dayyy?

And I studied with people tonight, which is never as productive for me. I think it was good for my sanity though. Calmed me down Smile (and made me realize that I'm actually VERY prepared compared to a lot of other people).

I think the fact that I'm able to post so quickly after my first exam is a good sign...although I suppose it could also be a bad sign. But I felt good about it. I kinda just went in, answered stuff and never looked back. Normally I get through a portion of the question, stop, work on something else, and go back. Not this time. Just kinda plowed through it.

So I'm now 50% complete with the semester.

Let's hope this next exam goes as well. Or even better!!!

Shakespeare went well, but probably not as good as Logic (weird...) Now I only have one left, and it's not until Thursday! Tonight I shall relax...tomorrow morning I begin studying mi espanyol!

Just found out today I have a final tomorrow morning and then no more classes for the semester (or college for that matter) however, I do have a portfolio show to go to on Friday plus a few projects to take care off on Saturday that I need to email my teachers, so it is looking like it's all wrapping up quite nicely.

K well I work in the Print & Copy Center, but at night we only have 1 person per department, so this guy came over, motioned for a piece of paper and a pen, so I gave him one, and then 15 mins later he motioned me over, so I go over and NO ONE spoke english of the 4 of them and they kept looking at the 10 year old girl to translate and she wouldn't. So I started speaking spanish the best I could (mind you I suck at verb conjugation) and trying to explain to them what a rebate was. Basically it was like 550 for the computer, 120 instant savings, and a 30 dollar rebate, final totall 399. so i wasnt really getting through to them, so i called my friend in LA and she was translating because she speaks spanish. then she hung up, and my manager told me we didn't have anymore of them. so i tried giving them directions to another store.

THEN they came in the next night Smile and they were like we had to go to another store no one had it! hahaha anyway they bought a camera and were on their way after shaking my hand like 5 times. but this time they brought the wife i think or whoever it was, but she spoke english, and was asking me how i knew spanish. and on the way out they were like gringo! gracias!

jajajaja Smile

it was cool.

THEN. this 10 year old kid was in with his mom and they were talking to each other in spanish about ink. so i went to help them and i said some number in spanish and the little boy's eyes went WIDE. he was like WOAH. hahahaha it was cute.

I only have one more exam though! At 8:30 (five and a half hours to go -.-) I have my Critical Analysis of Social Issues exam. That should only take me about an hour and a bit to write, then I'm coming home to SLEEP until 3, then pack to go home, since my dad is coming to pick me up at 4.

It's funny though. All I have to pack for myself is my clothes, makeup, and Christmas presents. But then for Aesop, I need to pack his aquarium, filter, thermometer, brine shrimp eggs, brine shrimp incubator, heater, lamp, bloodworms, pellet and flake food, water conditioner, tank cleaner, ammonia remover, pH test strips, net, bacteria remover (in case he gets sick!) and baby food and gelatin to make his homemade fish food that he loves (special Christmas treat for him Wink ).

Can someone please tell me why it's going to take three times as long, and a bigger bag, to pack for a goldfish?

PostSubject: Re: Let the studying for finals begin!   Let the studying for finals begin! - Page 2 EmptyFri Dec 18, 2009 2:31 am

Sounds about right.

My cat is going to FLIP though. He doesn't play well with others, to say the least. Caesar was a barn cat, and even though he was only a few months old when he came home with us, he's always been very independent, since both his parents abandoned him/died just after he was born. That mixed with a stuck-up attitude that most cats seem to possess? He believes that it's HIS house and he's just letting us live there.

But I'll be bringing home Aesop, which will most definitely piss him off. He's a good size fish too. He's only 3 inches (and growing!) but he's really fat, since he's a calico ryukin (he's look pretty much exactly like this). But then, I'm bringing home my roommate's beta fish, named Feeeeesh (creative name, I know). She's taking a 2 hour bus ride home, so she was planning on just leaving the fish here and hoping he doesn't starve. But I offered to take him home. So my cat will have to suddenly deal with two fish.

Except, for the first time ever, my mom's family is coming for Christmas THIS weekend, instead of the 25th, since my dad's mom came up from England to have actual Christmas with us. But my cousin is leaving from school to come right to our place, so she has to bring her pet rat, Vivian. Not to mention there's still my little sister's guinea pig, Houdini, who Caesar has always had huge issues with.

Caesar also has some mental disorder (vet told us he has something, but it was too expensive to have a FULL diagnosis of what's wrong with him), and he doesn't do crowds in the slightest. He gets nervous when it's just our family of five in the room. But having 20+ people over for Christmas, plus strange animals?

He's going to die.

Or just try to kill me again, which is what happened last time I came home "unexpectedly". He doesn't like surprises.

My dog loves when I come home. It means he gets to sleep in a bed, because I'm the only one who'll let him do it Smile And I like having him around, because he wakes me up in the morning!! Most reliable alarm clock ever, lol

Ugh, my cat HATES when I come home. He can't handle the change of me leaving then coming back. And he seems to take me leaving personally, and then holds it against me forever. Either that, or each time I disappear, he thinks I died, then is surprised whenever I reappear, since I only go home for holidays.

But last time I went home, I was sleeping, and I woke up to feeling movement around my head. I opened my eyes, and Caesar was standing over me, paw raised, ready to just ATTACK me! When he realized my eyes were open though, he froze for a moment, then just TOOK OFF running and hid. I didn't even see him for another couple days.

Hahaha, one of my cats never comes out when I'm home. I haven't seen her in probably three years. No one in the house can figure out why. Maybe it is because she doesn't remember me. Who knows. She's a bitch anyway...

Well, school didn't start this year until the third week of September, so they cut our Christmas break short to make up for it. But still, today is the last day of exams. Some people finished a week and a half before me. I just happen to have a short break because my exams took forever -.-
