New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Does anyone have this game? Mo, I think you have a Wii, right? Who else? I'm curious to know what you guys think of it. I think it's freakin fantastic. I haven't even played it by myself yet. I've played it 2P, 3P, and 4P, and for whatever reason I think I like 3P the best. Mighta just been who I was playing with. No idea.

But yeah.

I want to get this game but have no money at this time sadly. I do have a Wii and will eventually be getting it when I can. Glad to hear it is good

the Wii's in my roommate's room so I don't get to play it much, but I played this at my friend's house and it was pretty fun. But she kept losing and would get mad and stop playing.

I hate that! If people get mad at being bad at video games, don't play video games, or don't play them around other people. It's awkward and uncomfortable. My sister is one of those people. I remember playing Tony Hawk with her, and shit was she bad. And then she'd get all pissed off and do the "I pressed it! I pressed the button. Something's wrong with the game!" We all just kind of shut up and let her go off....cuz what else are we supposed to do?

I think it's adorable when she does it. Because she's a big grump to begin with, and she gets SO mad when she's not good at a video game.

One thing that really did piss me off though. My roommate is a big Mario Party fan, we would have Mario Parties all the time and play it and he was really awesome at it and is an INSUFFERABLE winner. So he didn't have any money when the Mario Party for the Wii came out and I bought it for him just because we always have a lot of fun playing it and stuff so I figured, why not? And we played it like twice and he lost both times and is just like "No, that game's stupid, I don't want to play it ever again!"

Hahaha, yeah, THAT'S annoying!

Seeing all of the commercials for it brought out two emotions in me:

1. Anger and curiosity for the new game
2. Nostalgia and sadness for the N64 and Super Nintendo versions that are back in my hometown and I crave.

Anger? Why?

And if you love the Super Nintendo games, I guarantee you'll enjoy this one. I'm not a huge Mario buff, but my friend who is says they pretty much coulda called it Super Mario World 2.

Anger because I don't have it But yeah I'm sure it's very similar, I'm excited to play it.

I love this game, I got a wii for Christmas and Super Mario Bros as well. My whole family loves this game; although my parents kind of stink at it. But it's so much fun, I have not tried playing one person yet or the battles and whatnot but I definitely will soon.

We got Wii Resort and Super Mario Bros and their both amazing games!

NSMBW is awesome, and the harder stages at the end can get pretty challenging, and a bit annoying when you can't get them right. And the final battle is epic - I guarantee you that.

Too bad the Player 3 and 4 characters are BOTH TOAD!! WTF?!?! Why not keep it like SMB2 and have it as Peach and Toad? Just one toad! WHY ON EARTH 2?? But yes I have the game and have played it a bit the day I got it (Christmas). It's ok doing 1-player, but I'd much rather play it with 3-4 people, so I stopped playing. The bosses are kinda fun, the bouncy ball one was cool. I think they should have had the balls hurt you though if you touch them on the side. If they just bump you it's annoying and doesn't make the battle any harder. I'll have to bring this game to my friend's house on Super Bowl day so we can play it when we're not watching the game. Aka before or the day after. While we're hung over.
