was wondering if anyone here follows this show? The premiere of the new season starts tonight and I am looking forward to watching it. I've missed the last 2-3 seasons and miss watching this show. I am in the process of downloading the previous seasons to catch up.

Anyone interested in discussing this season with me?

I love this show...

Amanda and I took dance lessons forever!!!
I took fifteen years of it myself, and I LOVE this show. I have never missed a season. I love to analyze the dancers. I tivo the show though, so I usually watch it the next day. I don't mind discussing it with you!!!

I did watch the premiere, there were a lot of really good dancers. Really excited to watch this show again. I have downloaded all of the first two seasons and season 7. am trying to get the others as well and am gonna try and watch them inbetween the episodes for this season. Good thing is I can fast-forward through some of the auditions and extras they do on results show so I won't actually watch everything but yeah I really like this show.

Funny thing is I've never taken dance and cannot dance to save my life (trust me, I'm terrible lmao) but I appreciate dance and enjoy it a lot, would have really liked to take dance lessons someday but not sure I ever will lol

Aww you totally should!! Most dance studios have adult classes (18 and ^). Amanda and I want to take Clogging lessons (well, more Amanda than I). I want to take contemporary and hip hop!

Saw a commercial for this yesterday, and it would be fun to watch for sure. The people on that show are amazing.

Except for the dumb people that just dance horribly to get on tv. As funny as those are it's just like...get off the stage you idiot.

I did take dance lessons. 10 years of Tap. 9 years of Jazz. 1 year of ballet. I told my mother ballet was boring and didnt want to do it anymore. I was 6. lol I was also in Drillteam for 7 years. Stacie did drillteam a lot longer than I did as she was in drillteam in HS. Wink

I used to watch so you think you can dance, I dont know what happened, I just stopped watching. I didnt watch it tonight but Im sure i can always find it online if I want to catch up. That girl chelsea hightower, who ended up oh Dancing with the stars, which I do watch, came from So you Think You can Dance. She is freakin awesome. I remember watching that season.

Chelsea is really good, as is Lacey and Dmitry, who are all on Dancing With The Stars as well who started on SYTYCD. It's great to see them all succeeding beyond the show.

I cannot wait to see who the All Stars will be later on in the show this year.

I think someday I'll definitely take classes on how to dance as I really think it is something I would enjoy. Someday lol

Okay, I watched the episode, and the stripper... wow! Just wow..

I really liked the girl dancer who's dad abandoned her and her mother her sophomore year in high school. Glad she made it through in the choreography round!

On a side note, I'm signing Chloe up for dance lessons tomorrow!! CANT WAIT!

lol, well she has to take a "creative movement class" until she's three (basically a mommy and me class). But at three, I can put her in the combination class and she'll get to be in the recital!! I can't WAIT!

yeah I couldn't believe the stripper that was really just a wow moment.

I also liked that girl Stacie, I was sitting here hoping she'd go through and am glad she did. Hopefully she sticks around too

I started rewatching the first season and I'm at the auditions of Nick and Melody (the final two of season 1, Nick won). I really liked the two of them and still like them though they were never my favorite as Melissa was. Not sure if anyone else watched that season and would even know who any of these people are but yeah lmao

Just got done watching tonights show. I am really liking this season thus far. I like almost all of the dancers a lot.

My favorites are Melanie, Jordan, Marcus, and Mitchel! =) Love this season! Can't wait to see who the all stars are going to be!
