Survivor: Nicaragua Signature Contest!

what I've read about Survivor for next season is enough for me to not be a fan anymore. I have zero faith in this show if spoilers come true.

Holly is Helen. She has really grown on me and she's come a long way from the beginning of the game...kinda like Kathy from Marquesas? I remember thinking she was nuts at the beginning and loving her by the end. Holly even apparently instigated one of the smartest moves of the game: Eliminating Brenda. I would be ok with Holly winning...and I think she could too. Very motherly and nurturing and genuine.

Sash is Brian. He's a great player and knows exactly how to work the numbers into his favor. It would be nice to see the best PLAYER win the game for once, instead of the best coattail rider. He's arrogant, but he's nowhere close to Russell...or even Marty IMO...or even Brian. DJ might disagree.

Fabio is Robb. Although Fabio is a lot more likeable than Robb, I never expected him to get even this far. He comes off as a doofus and he doesn't exactly deserves a win, but in order to get to the finals he'd have to win the next 2 challenges and he's kinda the underdog I want to root for.

Chase I guess is Ken, but mostly only in the looks department. I remember very little of Survivor Thailand, honestly, but I remember Ken being a worthy strong competitor who was taken out early in the merge for being that, and certainly didn't luck his way to the end by making bad decision after bad decision. Yes, he's sexy, no doubt about that, but I'd almost rather see Fabio win this game.

Dan is Clay. No, that's kind of a diss to Clay. At least Clay could walk (and golf like a pro!) XD Dan is so beatable he just MUST be in the finals. Like we didn't see this coming a month and a half ago when Vespada voted out Yve. It makes sense for the players and if I was playing for a million bucks, I'd want Dan next to me too, but shame on the producers and casting directors for not finding a more worthy opponent

Jane would have been batty old Jan of course. I reaaaaaally wanted Jane to win. I was sooooo annoyed that her Fab and Dan didnt at least TRY to force a tie.




This season was a big let down after Heroes Vs. Villains. Anyway, the story is next season is much better. I hope so.

I want to give you the award for being dumber than a bag of hammers.

Let me tell ya, this season was much better than the Russell show.

We started this Hantz-free season with a little fresh air by having everyone appear with some decent airtime (apart from Purple Kelly), and by the switch, each character was well established (execept for Purple Kelly).

I'm making a big assumption here, but I guess you, like every other fantard, don't like this season because you didn't have a favourite shoved in your face like Russell? This season you were asked to make up your own mind, deal with it.

Anyways, this season was less like Thailand, and more like Marquesas.

From day one, Marty played a Boston Rob-esque game, and the switch did for him what it did for Boston Rob in Marquesas.

The final five are more like Marquesas than Thailand, in short form:

Dan = Paschal

Irrelevant, and terrible at challenges.

Holly = Kathy

Such a social gamer, and voted out before the FTC due to being such a huge threat. Screwed over by her allies too.

Sash = John

Overconfidence is his weakness. See the parts where he toyed with his food (Marty) before eating it, just like John did to Rob.

Chase = Neleh

Backstabbed and pissed off a majority of the jury, just as Neleh did to the Rotu 4

Fabio = Sean

The joker/entertainer, who had a strong personality who went against the 'strategic threat' (Sash/John Carroll) and beat them out.

Heck, even Chase/Holly/Sash were like the Rotu 4 with their "HERP DERP we have an alliance lolz, we willz vote you out you have no chance." Thus motivating Fabio to beat the crap out of them.

I have to say I don't think this season was that bad but to compare it to any of the earlier seasons is an insult to this series. This season had a decent cast but two people quitting makes this season not worth remembering. I feel the same way about other seasons that have quitters.

Also, comparing Dan to Paschal or Fabio to Sean is an insult to Paschal and Sean. At least Paschal actually played the game and Sean was not the entertainer/jokester. All Sean did was call racist to everyone and complained about something and wasn't liked by most of the other cast.

I actually haven't finished watching this whole season but I have followed along and think it is equal to seasons like Cook Islands, Tocantins and Gabon in that the cast was decent. They just didn't hold interest as strongly as other seasons. China and Heroes vs Villains were two of the better seasons since Panama

Also, I have to say Tocantins being Coach focused and Samoa being Russell centric ruined both of those seasons, they weren't that great, not saying either person is not entertaining but these shows are not about one person, they are about the whole cast. I think had Naonka and Purple Kelly not quit that this season would have been great but quitters ruin the integrity of the game.

1. Rewatch, Paschal really didn't play the game at all lol He and Neleh mentioned that alot during the season lol

I just rewatched recently so it's still fresh in my mind

I've seen all the seasons, but I can hardly remember anything about the earlier ones. I liked Nicaragua more than the recent ones and most of the seasons that I can recall. I think it was because of the different personalities of the players and just the uniqueness and unpredictability of it. Even though two people quit, I think that actually added something to the value and makes the season stand out, in my eyes at least. Looking forward, I fear that I may not feel so positively about a season again for a long time.

Watching the Ponderosa videos, everyone really did seem to love Dan. I don't think him winning was completely out of the question because his social game was strong, but largely ignored by the edit. Compared to how most of the jury viewed Chase, Holly, and Sash, he might have had a chance to win in the finals. Maybe...

Fabio did a wonderful job of destroying any remaining positive perception that Sash had with the jury at the final 4 tribal council, and I have no problem with him winning because he really mastered the positive perception element of the game and made clutch moves to survive when he needed to. I thought Chase would be a disaster at final tribal council, but he impressed there as well and seemed to solidly justify his gameplay in a way that made almost half the jury want to vote for him.

Ive watched all the seasons and thought this one despite Napuka, was a good season. Sure there were a couple quitters, but that doesnt say anything bad about the show, that reflects on them personally, (fucking losers).

I Loved Fabio from the beginning and I am so glad he won. Chase... is an asshole. I can't believe that wishy washy mofo got votes.

At merge, Paschal did play more than Dan, but mostly floated along with Neleh. And the ones that mostly disliked Sean were the dislikable ones themselves heheheheh Tammy, Robert, John, lol The first time I watched that season, I hated Sean until the mixup and still didn't like him a whole lot. The second time I liked him a bit more. The third time, I liked him a bit more. When you watch a season with someone you hate hate hate and go back to watch old seasons, you realize that HEY that guy wasn't so bad after all lmfao The biggest thing with the race card though, is that Sean said everyone was using race as an excuse as to why Sean and Vee were in an alliance. He never really said anyone was racist, he just said that everyone accused them of being aligned only cuz they were the same race, but in fact it was because they were actually aligned lmfao

I actually liked this season, found it interesting, except for the quitters, but hey, Osten finally moved up from the bottom of my list by two spots!!! :D

Tiffani, I thought I remembered Marquesas a lot better than it would seem lol. I plan on rewatching it eventually (most likely soon) so maybe it will change my opinion

Osten quit Pearl Islands, and there were two quitters in Micronesia, and they are two of the best seasons ever.

Sean only played the race card in jest, and when people tried to make out that he and Vee were in an alliance based on race, and he had a mighty good chance at winning. Paschal hardly played the game, and only decided to make a move when Neleh forced him into it. Neleh probably would have voted Paschal out at the final 3 if she was prepared to actually play the game, Paschal definitely would have won if he made final two.

Sean was totally an entertainer. He was the life of the party on Maraamu tribe, and one of the bigger characters in the Maraamu Morning Show.

Sean deserved a spot on All-Stars over Boston Rob.

while I liked Pearl Islands I don't think it is one of the best seasons, mainly cause of the return twist and Osten quitting really dragged the quality of the season down. Despite my favorite winner coming from that season.

As for Micronesia, I only watched two episodes of that season I could not get into it at all, so no I don't consider that a good season at all.

and I definitely don't think Sean deserved All Stars over Boston Rob, I agree he deserves to come back cause he was a strong player but Boston Rob is a better player and more popular.

Brob is my fav player ever.

I just finished watching the Final 6 episode of the season and gotta say I actually like Jane a little more now and Chase, Holly and Sash a little less. She was foolish granted but the way they went about taking her out was a little disappointing. I do like this season just not as much as a lot of other seasons. Gonna finally watch the finale tonight

Micro is one of my favorite seasons right up until Tracey was voted out lol

I've heard a lot of people say they love Micro, I'll try watching it again, just it is the same with Cook Islands, Fiji, Tocantins and Samoa, I struggled to care during each of those seasons and same with this one which is why I fell behind in watching this season. I have since finished watching Samoa and still don't think that is a good season either, it had a decent cast but they spent too much time on Russell which hurt the overall season I think.

What I have seen at this time:
Borneo - Thailand : Seen the entire seasons

Amazon : missed most of the end of the season because it was on during something else I was watching, I can't remember what now though lol.

Pearl Islands - Panama : seen the entire seasons

Cook Islands - saw up only like 2-3 episodes total

Fiji - saw all minus the finale, chose to hang out with friends over seeing the finale as I didn't care what happened

China - saw all of

Micro - Saw Jonny fairplay and Mary get voted out and that was it

Gabon - saw all of

Tocantins - saw Caroline and Candace voted out, that is all

Samoa - was watching this season with a group of friends and had to travel to see them so I ended up not watching the end of the season due to not being able to visit for one reason or another. Did download the episodes at a later date and finished it though I haven't watched the reunion yet lol

Heroes vs Villains - saw all of

and of course you know about this season. I do own all the seasons on DVD that were officially released minus the newest three seasons (Africa, Marquesas, & Heroes vs Villains). Might rewatch some of the earlier seasons though soon

Oh i loved Fiji too lol Both those seasons had the awesome Blindside Tribals which I love hehehehehe But I love Earl as well, so Fiji is a cool season IMO
I totally agree about Samoa, way too much time devoted to Russell and way too much PR spent on a guy who didn't do much more than Rupert did (stealing someone else's stuff lol)
I'm rewatching All Stars ATM as well as finishing up this season, just watched the Final Five Immunity Challenge and I'm quite impressed!!!
Africa is one of my favorites, I think I liked almost everyone except Silas, he's right up there with my dislike for Russelll lol Of course I'll always rank them higher than the quitters lol Except Jenna M who had a valid reason for quitting when she did. IMO

I agree Tiffani, I don't think Fiji was as bad as some people thought and I do hate that I missed that finale cause I was rooting for Yau-Man and Earl to win and at least one of them won lol.

I don't dislike Russell like a lot but the way he was shoved down the viewers throats was a little much. He played an okay game in Samoa but he isn't a good player, a good player would have played good all round, not just one aspect of the game.

and Jenna definitely had a good reason for quitting. I wish she would return again though.

There were three quitters in Micro.*

I really hated the reunion, for a number of reasons:

1. Jeff Probst cutting Shannon off.
2. Jane winning fan favourite.
3. I knew the answer to every question. (Brenda trying to get rid of Sash, Jimmy Johnson's health problems, etc.)
4. My favourites were completely ignored.
5. The reveal for next season. Seething hate.

My least favourite episode of the season was the final six episode, despite Jane getting voted out. I really hated the way that Jeff tried to rig the game.

I knew that both were obviously going to happen, and I had been expecting them. I had almost expected Shannon to be completely ignored, or not even asked to come onto the reunion.

I just really dislike the fact that Jane won fan favourite, and I have problems with the fan favourite award in general. Jane was an unpleasant person on the island, but CBS edited her as a sweet old lady so that they could give her $100,000.

It's a load of crap.

I was at school during this season and had no time to watch so I watched the entire thing in two days on cbs.com. I had no idea who had won or who was voted out when so it was just like watching it live.

My thoughts were:

Why did Jane win the fan award??? I felt bad for her at times, yes.. but she was CRAZY. Putting the fire out because she's going home? Yes, I couldn't STAND the Sash/Chase/Holly alliance and thought they went poorly about ousting Jane, but that's just immature to put the fire out like that. Also, she was WAY too bitter about things. EVERY single TC, when they showed her face she looked like she was gonna murder someone.

FABIO IS AWESOME!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 I picked him as my fave and I was soo happy he won!! :D I think he really deserved it. He was freakin' hilarious too! :D :D :D I have a boyfriend, but I have to admit I totally have a crush on him.

My other faves were: Benry, Alina, Kelly B and Jimmy Johnson.

Marty was annoying at first but I grew to root for him cuz he was playing wit my peeps. ^_^

Wendy was forgettable.

Shannon came off as an asshole. He screwed himself over with his rude comments at tribal. He would have stayed if he had shut up. And honestly, I AGREE with Jeff cutting him off.

Jimmy T was kinda irritating at times. He gets a few points for being a Patriots fan though.

Tyrone was ok..

Yve= forgettable.

Jill was okay but annoying sometimes.

Brenda was annoying but a good player until her mistake in "not scrambling."

Kelly S= boooooooring.

NaOnka: HAHAHA she was a total nutcase but entertaining to say the least. Crazyyy bitch. Did not like her but she voted for Fabio so she gets points for that.

I liked Dan..

Sash/Holly/Chase-- annoying. ESPECIALLY Chase. I'm in the minority here but by the end of the show I wanted to ring his neck.
