has anyone ever dropped (aka had a one year old STEAL AND DROP) your iPod into the toilet and have it live to tell the tale?

Because my iPod is basically my whole social life here, and I have no idea what to do for the next couple days as it hopefully dries out... Even worse, tomorrow, I'm working 9 to 6, rather than my typical 12:30 to 6, and my iPod is the only way I even get through those short shifts. And even WORSE AGAIN, if it IS perma-dead, I totally spent all last night downloading $30 worth of apps, which is (literally) money down the drain. Lilian seriously has the worst timing for iPod destruction.

Never had the experience with an iPod, but I've done it with a few phones before and they dried out eventually and were ok. But with a phone you can take the back off, battery out, and let it dry. Not sure if you can open up an iPod.
