Tribal Council 11 Empty
PostSubject: Tribal Council 11   Tribal Council 11 EmptyTue Jul 20, 2010 12:57 am

Alright, let's get to it. Let's not waste any time. Here are some questions:

EVERYONE: You're in the Final 6. You gotta be thinking about Final 2 scenarios at this point. Is there anyone, right now, that you'd feel comfortable sitting next to if you end up presenting yourself in front of the Board of Trustees?

Brant: How much of this past Challenge was strategy, and how much of it was luck?

Bryan: You just won the last Elevator ride and Immunity. Are you worried about a growing target on your back?

Cam: As people get voted out, how difficult does it become to protect yourself? Does trust in other people begin to dissolve?

Deetster: This late in the game, are relationships solidified? Is there a way to sway people, or have people made up their minds about how they want this game to unfold?

Kenya: When it comes to surviving this late in the game, what is the single most important thing aside from having Immunity around your neck? How do you avoid elimination?

Sadie: In this game, when do you begin to worry about getting voted off? Are their signals you can look for or behavior that people begin to display that gives you a hint?

As always, vote in your Journal. As mentioned before, your votes are due on Tuesday, July 20th at 11:59pm EST.

Honestly if I can get to the final two at this point, whoever would be willing to take me or whoever I'd pick to take, I'd be comfortable sitting next to. I really like this cast and I'd love to go to final two. I mean, who doesn't want to fight for a lifetime supply of chocolate in front of the Board of Trustees? But for now, work needs to be done to get closer and see who's still in the game at that point before specific end-game plans can be finalized.

Brant: How much of this past Challenge was strategy, and how much of it was luck?
There is always strategy in a challenge. Even with luck, you can use a strategy to slightly influence it. The glass elevator trip, for instance, seemed to be hidden in a square that could be determined from the challenge description which a few people saw, but the luck of the order put Bryan first to get it.

So basically, you can't entirely make your own luck, but you can influence it by trying to think different things through without overthinking.

No, because we've all played good games. I don't think any of us should feel comfortable in the final two because it's anybody's game if they make it.

Bryan: You just won the last Elevator ride and Immunity. Are you worried about a growing target on your back?

I guess, but that challenge was really just luck of the draw, so people shouldn't worry about me. I've sucked at every other challenge and self-voted once. There are bigger targets for sure. And I didn't know B1 was the box til I just went back and read the description again Laughing It was just B for Bryan and 1 is my favorite number. So it really was luck!

I don't think I'd feel comfortable as far as "I'm winning" against anyone. I would be proud to be in the final 2 of this game regardless, just because it's always an accomplishment, and this is a competitive crowd. Above all though, I will simply continue acting in the ways I feel most comfortable acting...what I feel is right and good, and in doing that, if I make it to the end, there is no way I will feel discomforted with that.

Deetster: This late in the game, are relationships solidified? Is there a way to sway people, or have people made up their minds about how they want this game to unfold?

I think people have a general idea of what they want to happen. Who they trust, who they want to start connecting with more closely...I don't think anyone nailed their fate in stone though just yet though, and this game is still more or less unwritten. Especially at this tribal more than ever I think everyone can feel we are making a major dent in the stone of fate, but I still think even then we can't predict in what direction the cracks will branch.

Not really. Everyone that has made it to this point in the game is deserving of it. The same goes for whoever ends up in the Final 2. They will have outwitted, outlasted, and outplayed everyone else.

Cam: As people get voted out, how difficult does it become to protect yourself? Does trust in other people begin to dissolve?

Well, the only way to truly protect yourself is to win immunity. When you don't have that, you have to do your best to figure out how the votes are going to fall, and do your best to keep your name out of peoples' mouths. It gets harder and harder as we go along, for sure.

Trust is kind of black and white. You either have trusted someone and can continue to do so, or you just plain can't. I'm here to take out those can'ts.

That's such an odd question, why would anyone admit who they would feel comfortable against? Honestly if you want to win this game.. your best bet is to go against the best because then if you were to lose.. at least it wasn't losing to someone that doesn't deserve to be in the end, as oppose to possibly having the board of trustees being bitter enough to just give the win to the person that least deserves it in the final 2, I have seen that happen way too many times. So really I'm not confident enough to say I'd feel comfortable sitting next to anyone left because I feel we all have a good case to try to defend to get the votes to win.

Kenya: When it comes to surviving this late in the game, what is the single most important thing aside from having Immunity around your neck? How do you avoid elimination?

It's important to have built the connections to have the numbers to be safe this far, with the right people that won't just turn on you. Which makes it hard, I feel you almost have to make sure those people are just as threatening as you because if you are more threatening than them, they may take you out, you just never know. But this game is all about balance, yes having immunity is important but it's also important to have good social skills to help yourself avoid being the target from any direction.. and that is by far not easy at all.

Is there anyone, right now, that you'd feel comfortable sitting next to
if you end up presenting yourself in front of the Board of Trustees?

I think it is a little presumptuous for me to be thinking about Final 2 right now, I am just trying to make it to Final Five.

Sadie:
In this game, when do you begin to worry about getting voted off? Are
their signals you can look for or behavior that people begin to display
that gives you a hint?

I think you should always be concerned about being voted off. And it is always a hint that you may be on the line when people start avoiding you or avoid talking about the vote with you.
