Immunity Challenge 11 - TIEBREAKER Empty
PostSubject: Immunity Challenge 11 - TIEBREAKER   Immunity Challenge 11 - TIEBREAKER EmptyMon Jul 19, 2010 11:47 pm

Okay, as I said earlier, the Challenge did not yield a clear winner. This is because there was a tie: after a collective 300 guesses, two people were left at the end of the Challenge, each with one recipe left undiscovered. Due to certain circumstances, I was caught slightly off-guard, and I will admit that my inexperience in hosting caused me a moment of doubt in the best way to break the resulting tie. I understand that you are all experienced players and that this is slightly irritating, so I ask your forgiveness for my not having anticipated an event like this well enough to be handled in a moment's notice. As I've mentioned to some of you, I've got a "handy-dandy notebook" that I write all these snags down in for the future.

In any case, I've consulted an outside party as I mentioned before, and together we came up with the best tie-breaking solution.

Before I get to that, let me proceed with the original results in case you were wondering how it all went down. The six of you were placed in a random (using random.org) to select drawers for this challenge. If both of your recipes were found, you could not win Immunity, but you still selected drawers (I realize that this was not made clear in the instructions, but if you have questions about it, you may ask me personally, and I'll be more than happy to explain). The order you were placed is as follows:

BRANT & BRYAN, you have tied. Your tiebreaker challenge will be similar to the Challenge you have just competed in, but you will be starting over with a new chest of drawers.

This chest is only 4 drawers by 4 drawers, meaning 16 drawers.

Brant, Bryan, each of you will pick ONE drawer to hide your recipe in, and you will submit ALL sixteen coordinates in the order you'd like to select them. You may not repeat coordinates.

The player who finds the other person's recipe first will win Immunity. The order from the original Challenge will stand, and as such, Bryan will select first, and Brant second.

You will have until tomorrow at 9:00pm EST to complete this task. If both of you complete this task early, I will grade it as soon as possible.

Feel free to ask any questions if something is unclear.
