Anyone listen to Linkin Park?

I just saw that they have a release date for their new album. September 14th, I believe?

I'm excited, because I'm eager to see what direction they're going to go in after they made such a dramatic change with Minutes to Midnight. I know so many people who didn't like that album, but I was pleasantly surprised that Linkin Park was able to make an album I liked without remotely doing the same thing they'd done twice before. So I guess we'll see if they've made a Minutes to Midnight II or if they've cooked up something new...or maybe something in between...?

I liked Minutes to Midnight more than their other stuff, it actually sounded like music.

I still laugh whenever One Step Closer comes on somewhere.

Yesterday I was playing Rock Band with Len and he had to sing One Step Closer and he couldn't do it because I was just talking the words to it (which I like to do with silly songs) and he couldn't stop laughing and then he like started singing and cursing and I had to pause the game and look at him sternly and say "Hey...this is Linkin Park. We don't curse in Linkin Park."

Not until Minutes to Midnight at least

Right, that's when they decided their audience could handle adult emotions.

I have been a big fan of Linkin Park's since their first album. I have Hybrid Theory, ReAnimation, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight and love all of them. My favorite being their last one, so I'm really excited, plus Sept 14th is 2 days before my 25th B-day, so awesome timing lol

I like them. They have some good stuff.
