My family's refrigerator... Empty
PostSubject: My family's refrigerator...   My family's refrigerator... EmptyThu Jun 10, 2010 1:34 am

I want to clean it out so bad, because it's so gross. I just went to grab a bagel and cream cheese, and I grabbed the cream cheese and the entire exposed area was mold. Two problems with this scenario:

1. There shouldn't be any exposed are of a spread in the first place! Like, why in the world was there a thing of cream cheese sitting there with a whole side exposed? I'll tell you why: because my mom is dumb about stuff like that, and when she needs half of a package of cream cheese, instead of opening up the package, cutting half of the cream cheese off, and then closing it back up, she just cuts the entire package in half...voila: exposed side.

2. Why was this cream cheese sitting in the fridge so long that it get so moldy? Like, if something sits in your fridge so long that it gets moldy, that should be a sign that it isn't something you use often enough to buy when you go grocery shopping. Maybe you needed it for a specific recipe, but then you should have known you would need the whole thing and anticipated buying something that you would need the rest of the cream cheese for...

UGH.

I'm a fridge snob.

My fridge has cheese, milk, eggs, bottled water, tea, butter, coco puff cereal and catfood (yes I keep my catfood in the fridge, it keeps it from getting stale). I think I also have some chick fil a sauce .....and apricot jelly. There is one pound of beef in the fridge too but I'll be cooking that tonight. In the freezer is a box of blueberry waffles and ice cream sandwhiches.

I think my fridge is pretty empty.

Cereal in the fridge? I've never heard of that before.

My fridge only has this epic candy-yogurt thing and Dr. Pepper.

That's literally all that's in there.
