How often do you tidy up your living space?

I'm curious, because I pretty much live in a man-cave when I don't live with someone...

...I wanna get a good grasp on how "normal" people live.

I always clean up after myself within the kitchen or something, and then also do like 'cleaning cleaning' every other week but when it comes to actual clutter, like things just lying around that aren't dirty but could be tidy.......only whenever I know someone is coming over that I don't want it to be cluttered for.

Yeah, to clarify, I mean like cleaning-cleaning. Like, "Oop, time to tidy up the place."

So every other week?

When I live with someone, it's always clean up immediately in regards to food, dishes, discarded clothes, trash, etc. But when it comes to clutter, usually once a week.

However, when I live by myself...it's like...whenever the heck I get sick of it.

I clean the kitchen and bedroom every day.
I dust once a month.
I vacuum once a week,
i pick up the bathroom and living room every day.
I also do laundry once a week (pretty much when my laundry basket gets full).
I sweep my kitchen floor twice a day as my cats get cat food everywhere cause they scoop it out of the bowl with their paw and put it on the floor. ........ faoehja;oiseh;aw lol drives me nuts.
My hubby cleans the cat box every morning before he goes to work, and he takes out the trash every time its full.
Boyd also cleans the bathrooom for me once a week as I dont scrub toilets. .....

Oh, the bathroom is one thing that I actually have a routine for no matter whether I'm living with someone or not. That's every other week, always. It's always picked up, but as for actually scrubbing the sink, toilet, tub, etc., that's every other Sunday

Also, I never dust.

Ever.

I have terrible allergies. Dusting once a month I think is good for me. I hate dusting.

One thing I never, ever do is Mop. I barely have any tile in my apartment, just in the kitchen and bathroom, Ill scrub it with rag and soap. I dont even own a mop

I clean whenever my mom tells me to. I'm such a child Even when I don't live with her, I don't clean until she calls and is like "Your dad is going to your place tomorrow, and I know it must be a pig-sty over there. Clean it up or he'll disown you."

I'm a messy person. I'll admit that. I hate a clean home. It makes it feel like I'm a guest there. So I like clutter. But then that, mixed with the fact I'm lazy when it comes to dishes, makes it a bad combination, lmao. But I'm not only to blame! My roommates (well, ex-roommates, since I moved out last month) hated doing dishes too, so we'd all let them build up until we were out of dishes. I believe I posted this picture before, but here's an example:



It was disguising, ahaha. One of my roommates would always shove dirty dishes into the oven, to hide them from guests, but we never knew that when we went to turn on the oven >.>

Also, a dishwasher solves the problem of dishes stacking up like that lol.

That would be a High School Musical mug that I got as a gag gift, ahahaha

And also, my apartment was the sketchiest thing ever. There was so much mold in it that my respiratory became so weak that I caught H1N1 AND a viral lung infection at the same time. A dishwasher wasn't one of my landlord's priorities, lol

I'm pretty good about picking up clutter and stuff just whenever it needs to be done because I am OCD like that.

Dishes get washed almost immediately after use because I am anal like that. Also, I only have a few dishes so I will most likely use them for the next meal. Also no dishwasher so I don't have to wait for it to fill up or anything.

Vacuuming-its on my to do list! But yeah, it has not been done since I moved in last August. That's only 9 months.

Dusting-I never do this

Cleaning the kitchen-I do this as needed, maybe once a week?

Cleaning the bathroom-I do this as needed, maybe once a month?

Laundry I do once a week.

I mind clutter, but dirt and germs really do not bother me, but they probably should.
