| I still have these Google Earth photos of different cities. I wanted to turn them into puzzles. Do you know of any sites that do this? = ISTANBUL, TURKEY = MOSCOW, RUSSIA = SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA = SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, USA = GIZA, EGYPT = AGRA, INDIA = KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA = HONG KONG, CHINA = SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, USA = AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS = BEIJING, CHINA = WASHINGTON D.C. , USA

| Wowzers indeed! It seems like the difference between medium and small pieces is quite significant. I never got a chance to try out a small piece puzzle yet. Maybe tonight... So, I'm thinking... The first half of the game (pre-merge) I'd like to reference Ancient times. The second half (post merge) can be modern times. All challenges can be themed around these time periods. Since these maps are a modern day snapshot of these cities, this challenge will go post merge for sure which means individual challenge. We can use 2 of these with small pieces as part of the final 3 challenge as well. note: There are definitely missing Eras in time (medieval, renaissance, Industrial revolution) that we can either save as themes for future games (since we got so many great leaders to choose from lol) or intermingle chronologically so that we advance through time as such: Ancient -- medieval -- renaissance -- Industrial Rev -- Modern thoughts? | |

| if its not too hard to put those eras in our game some how, I say lets do it, if it seems too complicated, we can save em. Either way Im cool | |

| Because these are satellite images, it made pefect sense to attach the satellite quote to this, putting it in the Modern Era (Final 5-3). I decided to make this the final 4 challenge. Whoever can complete the most of these puzzles and identify the cities will win the crucial immunity. It takes effort at the final 4 so it seems fair to make a couple small, more medium, and maybe 1 big. Whatever is fair to ask 1 person to do multiple puzzles by themselves. | |

| Welcome, Leaders, to your Final 4 challenge. With the invention of satellites, we now have the ability to photograph geographic locations from space. Below you will find 8 puzzles. Once the puzzles are correctly solved, they will form a satellite image of a notable city from around the world. Each city is notable as either having a significant landmark (such as a building, bridge or other monument) or by being its nation's capital. All images were screencaptured from google earth, a free application you can download from http://earth.google.com/ if you'd like. You don't have to of course but it will certainly confirm your suspicions... You will have 48 hours to complete as many puzzles as possible and identify as many cities as possible. You will receive 10 pts for every puzzle you are able to complete (please post a screenshot of your completed puzzle. Make sure your AIM buddy list is visible in the screenshot so we know you completed the puzzle on your own.) You will receive 15 points for every city and country you are able to correctly identify. Please answer with both the city and the country in which it resides (for example: Paris, France). If you answer the city correct but not the country you will recive 8 points. If you answer the city incoorectly but answer the country correctly you will recieve 7 points. Please post your final answer (each completed puzzle image, with visible AIM buddy list, and city/country name) in ONE post in your Journal, in a new thread entitled "IC 15 City Puzzles". The player with the highest score will win. If there is a tie, the player who returns their final answer the quickest will win. The challenge is due Thursday, June 10th at 10pm EST (9 PM CST) PUZZLE 1:
